I am looking to buy some Real Nappies off TM to use when baby is newborn as our fitteds are a bit bulky on a little bottom.
How do I boost them at night? I use pockets on Jack at the moment, could I possibly use some of his MF inserts as long as I don't put them directly against baby's bottom? Or would I be best to use the towelling boosters that I have for the fitteds and should I put them against baby's bottom or put the prefold on first then booster and cover?

We used the newborn RealNappies on Chelsea and didn't need to boost them at night because she woke up every 2-3hrs so just changed her then. (In fact she still wakes up every 3 hours lol ) She was quite tiny so doubt extra padding would have fitted her little bottom anyway. But if you didn't want to change the baby every few hours you could use an extra booster, personally I'd use the prefold against baby's skin then the booster underneath but either way would be fine (except microfibre of course)

We never need to booster the Real Nappies either. Changed her when ever she woke up. Now she is in infant size, we booster them with Snazzie pants boosters. Bulky but works well.

Thanks ladies. Sorry haven't replied sooner but have been having trouble getting on at times.
I ended up buying some from TM and there are newborn and infant sized so thought I could maybe used the infant size at night if necessary. Will wait and see what happens when baby arrives
