We are having a surprise this time (just like last time) but I was showing a friend (who hasn't had a baby!) the 12 week picture and she said that she could see what we were having.
I have studied it and studied it but sometimes I think boy and sometimes girl. I have had my 18-20 week scan but we didn't find out so.... Here is the picture: 
Any guesses? -------------

We only get one pic printed off for us as we are too cheap to pay for the CD of them so this is the only picture from the 12 week one and the 18 week one is just the head (and the lady liked us so when I commented on how I loved seeing their wee feet she printed me off one of the feet).
I didn't even consider looking at the 12 week scan picture until my friend commented as didn't think you could actually tell. I would be stoked if its a girl though as we are arguing big time over boys names but have our girls name settled  We had the same prob last time and ended up with a boy!-------------

I cant tell! But Im shocking with scan pics.
I'd say your 20 week scan would be more accurate than a 12 week one though ------------- Our Angel July 08 Gone but not forgotten

I agree with Jess. We got told that the genitals look basically identical until 14-16 weeks, so it would be really hard to tell.

I am not fussed either way was just annoyed that someone might know something I don't...I hate that .
I always thought that you couldn't tell either at that stage, I remember being told that they all look like boys until around 14 weeks. -------------

Me too. Infact after someone told us with this one at the 12 week scan that they thought it was a boy, I came home and googled pictures of that age - and they do look almost identical - and yes definitely like boy bits  ------------- http://lilypie.com">
