I hear the brand 'Ecostore' tossed around a lot for washing baby things. Is this a must or can you use regular stuff, just maybe less of it for each load?
Also, I want to start washing baby's clothes. Is 29-30 weeks too early? And do new clothes just need to be washed once before bub comes?

I use normal sensitive powder, just a half measure.
I also waited to wash till probably two weeks prior to delivery.
Oh and I always washed new clothes till Issy reached probably about 10 months .. she seemed pretty robust by then lol

i use lux flakes mmmmmmmmm baby smells yum it makes the clothes soooooooooo much softer ...as baby got older i washed them in sensitive percil powder.........i washed them before baby was born as soon as i got them so about the same time as you ...i dont think it matters but too soon may cause clothes to smell like storage so i left the draws open...or aired them just ahead of time. some new clothes are stiff so to make them softer just wash them....i have one outfit that im taking to hospital for baby to wear home and this hasnt been washed and has tags attached as you never know just how big baby will be

I washed mine a few weeks ago and I still have just over 9 weeks till baby is due, better to be earlier than when baby is already here. I always use ecostore on my own clothes so I also used it to wash the baby's clothes. All my cleaning products are also ecostore, may cost slightly more but really think of the chemicals in all of the normal ones, figure if I can control one thing in my life it might as well be that!
