I dropped a little but not hugely noticable. I could only tell in photos. I just had lots of BH and then a day of nothing before going into labour. But a mate of mine had a noticeable drop about 3 weeks beforehand so it can't be that great of a way to measure when bubs might appear

Posted By: TysMummy

mmmmm yeah i had been having serious BH mostly at night and last night just very mild.....i did wake with a start numerous times but i think it was wishful thinking.....today nothing just VERY tight and i can feel kicking between my legs TMI so today i feel like big buzz kill cause im not feeling anything and now im thinking bugger its gonna be here on due date. oh well back to my cleaning

This is a good question as I too am OVER IT lol

My question though is.....did your bubs stay as wriggly as usual just before you started labour? Only asking cos my MIL reckons babies go quiet in the days leading up to giving birth and if that's the case I'm never getting this one out! lol. She's maybe a little less kicky but def still feel her moving around lots. Also don't think I've 'dropped' paticularly

I didn't notice any dropping for me, I cannot remember if he was wiggly or not.

My first contraction was 7am, first one that felt more than just period pain 9am, Finley born at 4pm.

I remember being convinced babies are only born at night so was sure my contractions were fake.

ah , I remember being over it with Caitlyn , I know better now, pregnancy is the easy part

But another example of how MILs dont always know what they are talking about , all babies are different, yes, a lot do go quieter in the days leading up to birth , but not all, my friend was 5 cms dilated , doubled over in pain and her daughter was still kicking away , so clearly that I (who was there ) could see her feet still
