Well, the festival of Andrew has concluded its first birthday activities and wound down to a fridge full of leftovers and a house of very, very tired people.

Thanks everyone. We seem to have recovered from the day - Andrew is pooped so is having big sleeps today. Cleaning up was a lot easier than I thought it would be - we used big plastic table cloth covers and paper plates and cutlery so that all we have to show of the day is a full rubbish bag at the back of the house. As a coincidence, it turns out the cake was the same one that Nick's (hubby) Mum made him for his first birthday. I didn't realise until she pointed it out yesterday. Yay the Australian Women's Weekly Kid's Birthday Cake book. ------------- |
