My poor lil man is constipated. He is 5 weeks old and breast and formula fed, any ideas on wat i can give him to help him?? he doesnt seem too bothered by it but surely its not nice. -------------

We used about 1/2 a teaspoon of brown sugar in Ollie's formula - just once - and it always did the trick.
I talked to my GP and he said that giving a tiny bit of brown sugar every so often is exactly the same as the lactulose they would prescribe. |

I gave Lauren boiled prune juice and it ALWAYS worked. Just boil one or two prunes for a few minutes and let the juice cool off then water it down alot with cooled boiled water. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

Thanks, am trying the brown sugar, he has had two lots so far, next will be the prune juice if it hasnt worked. -------------
