There has probably been posts about this but I'll start a new one anyway.
We have tons of apples this year & I'm going to make my own baby food.
What size do people usually freeze in?
The bottles at the supermarket are 110gm but I doubt I can find something to freeze multiple lots with at that size.
Also don't think that at 4 months they would eat that much if they are also fully breastfeed.
So has anyone found a good idea for reusable trays that are bigger than icecubes.

Mini-muffin trays, or cupcake cups?

I used to freeze them in ice cube trays then once frozen, transfer them into a large freezer bag so they kind of turned out like 'free flow' food cube and I could get as much/as little as I liked. It also meant it didn't take up all my trays until it was eaten.

I invested in some baby food trays from Baby City and they were awesome. I think they cost $20 for 3. They're about 2 times bigger than icecubes, and crescent shaped, and have lids. I'd cook up HUGE batches of stuff, put it in the trays to freeze, then take it out of the trays and put it in little snaplock bags. I labelled each one with what it was and the date, so it was real easy to see. Also then I could pick and choose, like a couple of cubes of apple and a couple of kumara... or 2 of kumara, 2 of chicken noodle etc.
When we first started at 4 months, he was only having half a cube each 'meal' and gradually worked his way up.

Awesome, Thanks Arohanui! Didn't think to look at a baby shop!
I'm also going to measure my mini muffin tins & see what volume they are.
Problem with my icecube trays is that DH makes them all up with water for his drinks so I need something that he won't flog.
