Hey you guys,

I'm having this intense pain in my pubic area - it feels like muscle or ligaments, definitely not the public bone. But it hurts like hell each time I move.

I've tried accupuncture but it didn't help, and whilst the pain has been minimal and manageable last few days, last night it has gotten worse when I got up to go to toilet.

The pain has intensified a lot this morning and I'm not looking forward to moving at all.

Can you please tell me if you know of any Osteo who might be able to fit me in today? I don't know if an Osteo would help... my mw is off call today, her replacement is in the hospital with a woman in labour and there's no one else I can get hold of.

Oh you poor thing. If you want someone cheap, the Osteo school at Unitec (Carrington Rd) is good and they're cheap ($20 a session). I rang in desperation when pregnant with Daniel and was seen within a few hours.

I'll second the Unitec clinic - you do get seen by final year students but they are supervised by experienced osteos and if there is anything serious thats needs doing the tutor does it (put my neck out and went to see them and the tutor put everything back into place)
But you could always ring them and ask if they can reccomend a osteo with preganacy experience - I'm sure they would help

Thanks guys,

I found an Osteo who could fit me in during lunch time - just came back from the session... I understand it's no miracle cure but the fact that I've seen some authority about it has given me much peace of mind.

Thanks for your recommendations!
