Grrrrr that would annoy me too.
Of course you can waer hot milk. They are nursing bras too. I think they do have one style that is only maternity but otherwise the others are all feeding. I wear them. As for the sizing guide....I did that last night (coincidence) and it put me at 20C!!!! I wear a 16DD so I would have expected one size here or there but I am not a 20....even with my broad back.

I wore hotmilk throughout my pregnancy and while nursing. (And Im back in them again lol).
I actually find them really comfy. I went to Smith and Caughey and got fitted ... I will say however that there new range seems smaller fitting .. although it could be the bras seem to be made of firmer satin type material this time around, so maybe not as much give?? Anyway .. of course you can wear them .. and take your money elsewhere and get fitted  ------------- Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months) I did it .. 41 kgs gone! Yup, I'm wearing Hot Milk! Although I have to warn you their sizing doesn't seem to be terribly consistent - like LF said the satiny ones seem to be a bit smaller fitting. I'm a 12B in most but need a C for the satin ones.
(Yes, I know I'm teeny, sigh - at the hospital when my milk still hadn't come in the midwives tended to look at my boobs with concern and ask "did your breasts... umm... grow at all during your pregnancy?") 8F sounds like it will be a better fit for you, even though the 14C would still go on ok (8F-10E-12D-14C will all be roughly the same size around - I think - I haven't had much experience with larger cup sizes obviously!). And in terms of fitting I second Smith & Caughey's -------------

What a stupid woman! What on earth does she think a pregnant woman is going to need drop down cups for?!?! 
I've been cursed with HUGE boobs and a small back and tried their F cup and I thought it felt more like a D at the most, there was no way (IMO of course) that it was anything close to an F. Two Blondinis you might want to try some other styles - I have one of theirs in a 14F (which is what size I am in fayreform bras too) and it's very comfy and fits right, I tried another style of theirs in the same size and it's far too small. Weird.

I found their sizing off as well. I ended up a 10F one style is actually too big & the other one is just right. That women had no place to say those things to you. I too hate how people assume you would only bf to 6 or 9 months.
I love HotMilk bras! Its lovely to wear something pretty when your boobs have become functional! I am a 16C/D and the HM one I wear the most is an 18C. The 16D I have is a bit small so it sits in my drawer waitin gfor me to shrink!!! I didn't use the online size guide I just got fitted at a local bra shop. I think the smaller one is a firmer satin so thats probably the reason. My one gripe is the lacy bfing camisole I got also comes down too low inthe middle so when I'm sleeping on my side, my boobs 'fall' into that gap!!! lol, but i suppose its made to look and feel sexy above being practical (and it is lovely otherwise!). ------------- http://lilypie.com">

lol maysie!! i had exactly the same problem with the camisole!

Try the breastmates website.
http://www.breastmates.co.nz/ - Breastmates She's lovely to deal with & they have a much bigger range than Smith & Caugheys & you can go see her & she'll fit you as well. She's based in Royal Oak. I never got fitted myself but worked my sizing out from the info on the breastmates website & found that pretty accurate. Hot milk is really good looking, but I would suggest going in and getting fitted for one that fits best. I found that with the hotmilk, it just wasn't right for me and each time I wore them I got mastitis. I went and got fitted without saying what bra I wanted and got the best maternity bra ever. Better than any bra I have ever worn. And being such a big cup sizd I had full support without an underwire! ------------- http://lilypie.com">
