that Megan had not had milk (as in cows milk) yet..we dont buy dark blue milk and she does get calcium from yoghurt and cheese.

She put some warm milk and honey in her sippy cup as she she was quite unsettled but she would not drink it..she took a couple of sips and thought nope.....I did put water in it this mornign and she drunk that fine.

I never drank milk as a child apparently, I just hated it always have. I have no issues and even had a bone density check once (they were doing them free) and I was all good, getting plenty of calcium in other places is fine.

I still would rather do anything than drink just milk - yuck

my eldest son didn't go onto cows milk - he stopped formula at 11 months and refused cows milk so he went without. sometimes i think MIL mean well but don't have a clue lol

Jack refused bottles (he was having cows milk though) when he was hospitalised for a week at 13 months and we have since tried cups of milk but no won't drink milk. He has milk on his cereal, cheese and yoghurt so he's fine. Just means he drinks more water which I don't see an issue with. And more milk for me yum yum (I'm a milk fiend!)

If you are still breastfeeding she won't need it will she? esp if shes getting calcium from yoghurt and cheese... I wouldn't stress about it
