any tips for dealing with it or reducing the pain? i got hit with it a couple days ago and was wondering if there was anything i could do bout it. its quite painful to walk on and i walk 60mins a day as part of my lifestyle so not just an exercise thing i can cut back on. i really dont wanna have to deal with it for another 7 weeks so if anyone knows anything bout it that would be great. i used to get the sciatic nerve pain every now and then before getting preg but not this persisting long lasting pain that doesnt go away again.

TIA

I had it last pregnancy. It lasted 2 weeks to the day. My midwife offered to refer me to a physiotherapist but said it usually only lasted a couple of weeks and it may take that long before I got a physio appointment. One day I woke up and it was gone.

Not looking forward to it happening this time.

Hi Monikah
I would recommend an osteopath and wheat bags...I so know how you feel
Good luck babe

I used wheat bags, it was a very annoying thing, I just took the pain and carried on with my day as usual.

Hang in there hun not long now.

My DH is an Osteopath and regularly treats pregnant woman for sciatica - definitely treatable and advisable to get treated so it doesn't continue to cause issuesafter the birth
