Is anyone planning on doing one of these? Or has anyone already done one??

I'm looking into organising one at the moment, and thought I'd see if anyone had heard of good package options, or places that organise them

Anywhere in NZ is fine - we're happy to travel!

Ha!  It's like a honeymoon - a last gasp holiday for you and your DH / DP to go away together before the baby arrives... and YOUR LIFE IS NEVER THE SAME AGAIN -

Yup! We are heading to Matakana for my birthday/baby moon.

In the latets OhBaby magazine there is a feature on babymoons, they mentioned a lodge in Matakana that is really luxurious and offers babymoon packages... we really wanted to do that but very $$$.

Had to laugh sorry. My folks live at Point Wells which is close to Matakana. I know it well and spent time there before it was built up to the holiday destination it is now. It's a beautiful place and I love going there but still picture the small hick town it used to be when ever someone mentions the name lol.

Make sure you go out to Mariposa Cafe close to Omaha and try my mums creamed mushrooms!!! (If she's on that day).
