OK this is going to sound like a really silly question but can bubs move too much?? Honestly he has not been still for longer than a 20min stretch all day. Its driving me nuts and actually really tiring. It looks like an alien has taken over my tummy.

Other than being uncomfortable for you and making it pretty difficult to sleep there's nothing to worry about.

LOL, I understand the Alien thing (do not watch aliens vs predator 2) my girl used to do 10 movements in 20 minutes (and thats if I only counted the big ones). Its perfectly normal. The only time my girl would lay still was when I went for a long walk - the rocking motion of the waddle put her to sleep! His movements are due to slow down a bit as he'll be running out of room soon. Maybe turning??

I have been wondering the same thing as you Sarahm as I am 29 weeks and also have a very active baby. Baby constantly moves all day and a bit at night. I can always count ten strong movements before I get out of bed in the morning and it just carries on from there. Could almost guarantee anyone could feel a kick if they hung around for a short while!

Interesting though that I have never seen my tummy move and I ofen look as it feels so full on.

Thanks guys, thought it was probably very normal but was getting to the point I was almost it tears as some of the movements really hurt, DP could see my tummy moving from the other end of the couch
This morning I feel like Ive done 1000 situp, my tummy feels all stretched, but he is a lot less active, he has the hiccups at the mo but thats all I've felt since I woke up an hour ago.

Haha I used to always think of the Alien movies towards the end because of the way the girls would roll their feet across my belly....creepy

SarahM, it's very normal- my DP used to be woken by our girl kicking him in the back (thru my tummy!) if I was cuddled against him at night.
