I had my scan.
There's two of the little sods!!!! And they're identical ones too. Size is perfect for dates, hearts beating away at 130 and 121BPM. What have I done???!!!!!! LOL |

You'll have to come join us in the twins, triplets or more thread How exciting I remember my first scan its amazing when you first see those 2 little peanuts.
Twins are the most fun. You'll find you get so many "how will you cope" comments or I feel sorry for you stares but twins are so much fun you get double the cuddles/kisses and when you see them holding hands and laughing at each other for the first time it just makes your heart cry out. Oh I'm so excited for you chic! It really is the coolest journey -------------

For anyone who asks how we will cope....I will probably crack up laughing (I seem to be doing that a lot at the moment LOL) and say I have no fricking idea, how do you suggest we cope???
Cos I mean really - two of em!! They're monochorionic, so share a placenta....and therefore high risk. And if they ARE boys, DF will be over the moon!!! There's a whole lotta shock going round this family, and MIL has started knitting LOL I keep thinking...after the road we had to get here, they decided it would be divine justice to give us two back....then I laugh...cos yeah, there's two LOL |

I watched maternity ward yesterday (with my 4yr old son lol) and there was a women who had twins who shared the placenta as well, one baby was deffinetly smaller than the other but they were both really healthy

Wedding dress - fingers crossed I don't expand TOO quickly....otherwise we may have to put a panel in somewhere LOL Nah, the twins are just a random thing - the egg split!! Whether the progesterone has helped them stick though...that's another story. I really think it did. DF....he woke up this morning and asked "is there still two in there or did one fall out overnight???" hehehe yes he was joking!!! |

I actually went to Farmers yesterday and tried out the MB twin buggy - seriously, has anyone else tried one of those things?? They are so wide!!! We have a Baby Factory here, and a Baby City opening shortly so yeah.
Did I suspect...hrmmm this is a funny one. Ever since we started trying we have joked about twins, and even yesterday morning before the scan I was thinking about twins and what I would do...and DF and I have talked about it constantly since we got the BFP. Not once has it come up that it's a single baby as such - although I kind of went expecting to hear one heartbeat....or possibly HOPING to hear one heartbeat. I don't know if it was sub-conscious, but I think we had an inkling. |

Thanks everyone - it still hasn't sunk in really, made worse as I have stuff all symptoms except my sore boobs and tiredness. I relish the times I feel nauseous - but hate them at the same time LOL
I can't wait until my next scan or whatever so I can see them again - I need to see them again to prove it's real!! |
