I wasn't sure where to post this, but don't want it to be a general topic, so this is the next best place!

I'm 2 weeks overdue for AF.  There have been no "accidents" this month for there to be any possibility of me being pg, but just to be sure I have done 2 HPT, one a few days after AF was due, and one about 4 days ago.  Both BFN.  If I was pg they would surely show a BFP being that AF was so late.  And if I was pg I'd be feeling it by now.  So I'm really really sure this isn't the reason AF hasn't turned up.

I've never been this overdue for AF before (besides when I've actually been pg), and wondering what on earth is going on!?!?!?!?!?

Any ideas ladies??

Are you on the BCP? When I was on it and I got stressed out (like during uni exams or a bad breakup - or both at the same time ) AF just didn't arrive that "cycle".

Otherwise, no idea!!!

Although I spose if you ovulated late then you could be pg but less than 10 DPO, or 14 now...

ETA - check out http://www.peeonastick.com/hptfaq.html#18 - this FAQ from peeonastick.com (I was reading something there earlier today), could be another possibility?

Thanks for that weegee.  I'm not on BCP (I'm not even sure what that is??), I'm on no form of contraception (we just use condoms).  I have no idea when I ovulate in my cycle as I fell pg with Jett right when AF was due, so there was obviously eggs still hanging around then, but I tested when AF was 1 wk late then, I did get a positive, although faint.  So even though I fell pg right when AF was due and tested a week or 2 later, a positive came up.  I also started getting pg symptoms right when AF was due with Jett, although I would've only just been pg!  There's been no symptoms whatsoever to make me think I could be (and I really truely believe I'm not).

Hmmm, very strange!!

aww hun - have you been stressed lately? I know with a few of your posts it seems that way and you have been busy no doubt so you may of skip AF - but then again you maybe pregnant and that fourth child is waiting to be born    I would suggest going to your doctor if you are worried.

sorry, BCP = birth control pill

Seems you can ovulate later than 'normal' every now and then (like you did when Jett arrived) - and according to that link stress (or excitement) can make you ovulate later, which delays your period.

I'm with Ann though, probably best to go to the doc checked out, if it is a luteal cyst then you need an injection to deal with it anyway.

Well I noticed this morning that my CM was turning brown, so I hope this means it's the start of AF arriving!!

It was starting to freak me out being so late.
