Ds is eating plenty of different food which I am makking for him. He has no problems with lumps or anything so am just mashing his food but have noticed that sometimes it just goes straight through him. For example carrot lumps in poo or spinach leaves.
Is this okay? Should it be smaller so he can digest it better. Its not all of it just some bits go undigested. He's still mainly having BF for true intake but he has three meals a day too.

Even adults get carrot lumps etc in poos. I dont think it matters too much as long as he is eating alright. His body will absorb what it needs from the food and the rest will be "expelled". I guess its just the immature digestive system.

Caden had some mashed up carrot, cauliflower and broccli the other night and his poo the next morning was gross, had the carrot lumps in it, just the way they went in lol
They dont chew the food they just mush it round in their mouth and then swallow it.
