Well, finally, after two years of testing, waiting, etc I managed to get onto government funded IVF.

I am 40 years old and having been trying for the last 16 years to fall pregnant naturally!

Monday I will start on Buserelin injections and am a bit anxious bout the injections and the side effects.

Is there anyone else starting at the same time as me or have any tips or advice to help me?

Hi Shezhoping, I did a cycle of ICSI IVF in October 2006, and I now have a beautiful 17 month old Daughter. Everyone copes differently with the cycles and side effects. I was one of the lucky ones that had basically no side effects whatsoever, except for the odd hot flush. I found that keeping busy and having nice things planned (especially in the two week wait after embryo transfer) is a good idea. I worked through which kept me busy (had a day off after egg collection). The best hint I got for the injections was to grab a big bit of flesh in one hand tightly, and put the needle in slowly and firmly - do not stab the needle in - this worked well for me.
Best of luck with your cycle, I am sure things will go well.

Hi there Shezhoping, just thought I would drop you quick note and wish you all the best for your upcoming IVF.

I am just about at the end of our first cycle of IVF, egg collection is Sunday, eek! And there are a few of us going through it at the moment on the Coping with Infertility Forum, so feel free to pop over and join us there.

Re the injections, they are not too bad once your've done your first, it seems so scary to start with but once your've done one, you'll be away laughing! I didn't really have any side affects apart from tiredness with the injections and I don't remember reading that anybody else had any horrible side affects either so hopefully that will apply to you too.

Anyway best of luck to you, hope it all goes well. Feel free to ask any questions and I will try and answer as best as possible.

Take care.

Hi Shezhoping
We are starting ICSI shortly, I am waiting for my period to show up (will be any day) to start the pill. Its then 2-4 weeks till injections. I am 38 yrs and we have been trying for a year. We don't qualify for public funding though. Its been a shock that ICSI is the only option and I am a bit anxious about IVF too.

Sounds like good advice from Lulu.

I'd love to hear how your egg collection went ScaredyCat

p.s shezhoping, how did your first injection go?

I had my first injection at 9.15 this morning. My nurse was right, she said if you pluck your eyebrows it is the same pain! It was just getting over the mental hurdle that was the difficult bit. I felt really proud after that, lol.

Shopa - if you dont mind me asking, how come you don't qualify for public funding? Also, I will keep updating this forum so that you have an idea of what happens along the way.

I had a look at ScaredyCat's forum and she said they had collected 11 eggs... well done

Thank you for all the good luck wishes.

Glad to hear you are coping with your injections Shezhoping, its really not too bad once your under way, is it, it is definitely a mind game!! When is your first blood test due?

And I know I wasn't expecting my EC to fall on a weekend, let alone a public holiday, but I guess they have gotta come out when they are ready!!

So I had EC yesterday which all I can say is I'm glad its over, the worse thing about it is the unknown but its really not too bad. I know this is really hard but try not to think too much, which was my biggest problem, overthinking the whole process!!! And the nurses and doctors are brilliant and it was all over in about 5-10 mins.

They managed to collect 12 but only 11 were eggs and 9 were fertilised over night. And all going well we are booked in Wednesday for transfer back in.

Good luck to both you and Shopa, I hope everything goes well for you guys. I'll pop in here from time to time and give you an update.

Wow ScaredyCat 9 fertilised eggs... please let me know how the transfer goes.

My blood test is due on 9 February if I recall, I am at work so cannot check my home calendar lol.

I am off to do my injection now.

ScaredyCat that is great! congratulations I would be thrilled with that!

Really good to hear the injections are not so bad Shezhoping.

I am waiting for my period which is late. The nurse today said if it doesn't arrive by next monday they will arrange a blood test. I said the Dr told us there was little chance we would conceive naturally... but she said they can tell when it might show up from the hormones ect. I am likely to be on the pill for arund 3 weeks b4 injections. I am alternating between excitedness and anxiety. At least now I have some real hope.

Shezhoping, my hubby had a vasectomy and a reversal last Jan but has antibodies. The fact that he has had a voluntary reversal takes our points way down so we cannot qualify :(

Best of luck to you ScaredyCat and Shezhoping.

Shopa.. you are patient to wait til next Monday.  I would have bought a home pregnancy test already, lol.     I can relate to the emotions you are going through. I have even had random thoughts of "maybe I am not ready yet" - even though I have been yearning to have a baby for years - crazy?

My partner has low motility and abnormal sperm and doctor advised to get a vitamin called menvit  to increase sperm health and production,  so gonna look for it at the chemist.

Shopa best of luck to you too, please keep posting your progress

Well had the transfer today and that was a breeze, so all good there!!

I had an eight cell, grade 5 transferred (not that I know what that means really!!) but they seemed to be really happy with it, so so am I! And have four others frozen today, plus maybe three more tomorrow if they keep developing correctly.

So now I have the dreaded two week wait, not going to be easy but will try and keep busy with work and trying to relax and take it easy.

I can totally relate to your feelings Shezhoping of "am I ready for this", I had a major bout of that just before I started the IVF journey and like you we have been trying for years too, I think it may have had something to do with nerves and not wanting to go through the IVF process, but once started it was ok and really its not that bad, would do it again tomorrow if had too!

So I have my fingers crossed for you ladies, I hope your journey is a successful one! Take care and good luck!

All the best ScaredyCat.

I am not so patient probably just a bit despondent, an dreading another test. I have waited so long to start trying for children and every month last year was so difficult when I got my period or BFN's. Also after monitoring my cycle last month I was unsure if I ovulated or if so then it was late into my cycle so am not surprised it is late. And I have no symptoms at all. Still I did get a test pack yesterday and was going to do in the morning but then woke up around 4am with cramps and was so certain I was getting AF I took a neurophen and went back to sleep. But nothing today at all..I really would like to just get on with the IVF now.

Wit the menevit I don't think you can get it in the pharmacy but the Fertility Associates can write a prescription for your hubby. It is about $90 for a 3 month supply. They get it from Aussie. It is susposed to be very good. The nurse said some of the main ingredients zinc and selenium would also be good for my hubby to take. He has been on multi's, zinc, folic, vit e and anti-oxidents for the last month. They say though that it takes 3 months to make sperm and if he was to start menvit now it would not likely be useful for when the sample would be needed. Also not sure it as helpful for my hubby.

Stay positive and best of luck to everyone out there

Shopa,  I am in the same boat.  For years I have been hoping and then get depressed when I get AF, worse if it is a day or two late.  Sometimes when I go shopping and I see a baby or newborn I get a pain in my heart and feel that life is not fair.  Sorry to sound so miserable.   If this IVF doesnt work I am going to have to work out a way to get over it and move on.

My period is due on Tuesday but I am not sure if I will get it because I have been having the buserelin injections...  would you know?

Talking about neurophen... a friend of mine who battled to conceive and then did, told me not to take nerophen and only disprin, she also said drink whole milk and use butter not marg, lol.

Please let me know how you are doing..

Hey guys, I did ICSI (IVF) last year & conceived from a frozen embryo. I found when it didn't happen for me first go on a fresh egg I found I had to put myself into the mindset of realising this is tricky business and may take a few goes!! My success was a grade 4 8 cell, it was a 10 cell but lost two thawing.

I was told not to take anything other than panadol, so thought I would just mention that to you. I used to take stuff for period pain etc but was told only panadol in the preceding period before I started the injections etc and from then on. So for me, no nurofen or disprin.

If in doubt of course, ask the great nurses at FA, they will help.

Best of luck everyone

Sierra34 its great to hear success stories and thanks for your advice. Can you tell me how they work the grading, what is considered good and not so good? and what does it go up to?

Will check with nurse re neurophen thanks. Have in the past been careful not to take it around ovulation time and the next 2 weeks after.

When I spoke to the nurse she said there would be a period in between the cycles b4 egg collection but am not sure when. Your nurse will be able to tell you.

Was a BFN but wasn't surprised. What is difficult as well is the clock ticking. Got to keep as positive as possible though and pray for lots of healthy little eggies and embies!

I suppose I have been focussing too much on getting pregnant with the ICSI and not thinking about the upside that I may manage to get frozen embryos for future...

Well, I have been taking the buserelin injections for seven days now without even a  hint of pain  yay.  Just twelve days until I start with the gonal injections.

I have been feeling a bit emotional the last two days but I think it might be pms because I am due for AF on tuesday.

Like Shopa says, got to be positive . .and trying to eat and live healthy. ..

Hey Shopa, with the grading, I'm not terribly clued up on it but think grade 5 might be the best and I think that may be kindof rare? Anyhow, I think the grading just gets done on the fertilised embies, and maybe relates to how many cells they are after the days of dividing etc, maybe all sorts of other scientific stuff comes into it too. I know they watch them very carefully to see they are doing the norm over that period.
All very technical stuff, but amazing what they can do, I know I was very grateful for the opportunity, and I know it's a bit of a lottery, but got to take your chances or you'd never know aye.
And re: the clock ticking, the good thing is that once your eggs are collected if you have frozen ones as back ups the age is all related to your eggs when they were collected so clock kindof stops ticking then I think if you know what I mean.

Best of luck everyone

Hi there, this is my first time on here and I see you have just started injections. I hope it is all going well, I have just gone through my first IVF experience and am in my 2WW, not experiencing any symptoms and feel very un-pregnant!
Anyway in answer to your question the injections are not bad at all, I was worried about them too but got my husband to do each and every one of them, and I even started to look towards the end. haha.
When is your egg retrieval? Feel free to ask any questions and to know what stage you are at.
Is there anyone else in the 2WW or can remember if they had any symptoms - after IVF?

Hiya first time ivf, have just read your posts and yip there's a few of us in the 2ww period, its mighty hard trying not to read too much into every single little twinge!!

And my goodness you had a huge amount of eggs collected and fertilised, well done, you must be really pleased with that!!

We only had 12 collected, 10 fertilised but only 5 made it from there, one put back in and four frozen.

And like you not feeling any def pg symptons yet, not that I really know what to look for though as most of them seem to be the same as AF symptons.

Fingers crossed for you, look forward to hearing how your going.

Hi ScaredyCat, Yes I agree I have been reading into pregnancy symptoms for far too long and I do start to assess twinges, how many times go to the toilet etc. Its so consuming. I have got sore BB's at the moment but I also had them when I was on the injections - so thats not a good enough one really. And I didnt see any implantation spotting - although only 25% do.
Yes we had a good response nice to know theres some back ups in the freezer for a few more tries. But because I had so many eggs I was in so much pain afterwards for days, was convinced I had OHSS but tested fine.
Did you have a 5 day transfer?
I am so glad I have found this forum and so nice to know there are other people out there at the same stage. Fingers crossed for you too and let me know how you are going. I have got another week until 'D' Day.

Hi first time ivf, I too have the sore BB's but for me thats a sign AF is on its way, so hoping its also a sign of pg (which others have said it is).

My transfer was a Day 3 transfer and yes you are really lucky to have that many backs up in the freezer. I was hoping for more but I'm happy with four too.

My "D" day is this Sunday, eek, looming close now and still have no idea which way it will go.

Good to hear from you, good luck, I have added you to buddy list aswell.

I wish you every success, and heres hoping the sore BB's does not mean AF is on her way.
I have read other blogs that say pregnancy symptoms are later with us IVF'ers as the hormone gets released later so heres hoping that is the case for us.
Fingers and toes crossed for Sunday.

Hi Scaredycat,  will be thinking of you today.

Great that you have joined the forum 'first time ivf', I have been following Scaredycat and great now there's another person to follow.

Monday I have to phone my nurse for a baseline bloodtest and then on Wednesday I start the gonal F.  I think I have forgotten how to use the pens (the priming bit) but might go into greenlane and ask a nurse to show me again.

I hope there are no side effects with the gonal f.  Can anyone tell me if there is anything else to be taken after the ovidrel?  is progesterone taken too?

Well I had my blood test today and its not good news nor bad news, my test came back un conclusive!!!

So they couldn't say positive or negative so have to carry on with the pessaries for another four days and have another blood test done on Thursday.

Not holding too much hope as I started bleeding yesterday and they didn't think that it was a good sign for a positve outcome.

But on the bright side I do have other emby's frozen so if this one doesn't work I do have them as a back up, still a bit gutted though, was really hoping it was gonna work, oh well, whats another few months after four years of trying!

Hope everyone else is doing OK.

ScaredyCat, I hope today is a happy day for you...

Today was the actual day for me to start the gonal f.. I primed the pen and injected but when I withdrew the needle it left a lot on my tummy (even after leaving it for 10 seconds).  I hope I did it right....

Hiya Shezhoping,

Well still nothing definite for me, so back out in limbo land!

Blood tests results came back quite good with a rise from 39 to 213 which seems to be OK, but the bleeding I have is causing a fair amount of concern.

So nothing I can do but sit back and wait another week for blood test.

Re the Gonal F Pen injection, I think I found I did the same think as you, once I took the needle out after injecting myself and it came squirting out the hole I had just made with the needle!! Sounds like you are doing the right thing though with the waiting 10 seconds before removing needle.

When is your first blood test to check for down regulating?

hi ScaredyCat,  i was just wondering if you are taking progesterone pessaries? and how are you doing?

Hi there Shezhoping, yip I am taking progesterone pessaires, three times daily. With IVF you start taking them the day after EC and right up till now for me.

The nuses did actually tell me on Thursday that my progesterone levels are a little low even while taking them, so not sure if that is causing the bleeding or not, which still hasn't gone away.

I think I will ring them tomorrow and just let them know that its been a full week now since started bleeding and no signs of it letting up yet and see if I can get my blood test moved forward a wee bit, am starting to get a little concerned and wondering if its doing damage or something.

You must be getting excited, things start happening for you this week too don't they?

Hiya, I was googling ivf  etc. today and i came across a website re bleeding in first stages and they mentioned that if progesterone is low then can cause bleeding and I thought of your situation.  Yea, I think you should call them and get  tested as soon as. :)  or maybe even your gp can do a blood form?

Wednesday I get my scan for follicle size... I am so excited and scared!!!

I had my scan and have 10 follicles!  I am not sure how many will have eggs in them.  I will be going for another scan on Friday so another two sleepies lol.

Measurements are :

Left : 7mm, 12mm, 15mm, 17mm  and

Right : 10mm, 2x 13mm, 2x15mm, 17mm

I have had quite a tight chest and been using my asthma pump quite a bit.  I hope it doesn't affect anything.

How is everyone else doing??

Hi Shezhoping, well done, your scan results look really good, and not long to go for you now!!

I think they would have told you about your asthma pump if they thought it was going to be a problem, maybe just ring them to double check. But hang if you need it, there's not a lot else you can do is there?

And bad news for me, my test yesterday was a negative this time so bit gutted really but at least I have four frozen embies to try next time.

Hope your scan is all good on Friday and then not long to EC and transfer back for you. Good luck!

Well, today I went for my second scan and now have 9 follicles???

After the scan, the nurse gave me the measurements and,  true to form, I burst out crying.... I just thought one less follicle - one less chance  AND the left side one don't seem to be growing.   She said not to worry sometimes they can't be seen.   From what I have googled, not all follicles have embryos.  This is my only shot at ivf and my odds seem to be diminishing by the day.  sniff..

My measurements were :

My E2 for day 7 was 3513

Anyway,  I have been told that my egg collection is Monday morning.  So please hold thumbs for me.     (If anyone is still following my journey)

Hi Shezhoping, yep I'm still here following you, although maybe you should also pop into Coping with Infertility too and they have a great thread going called Infertility and there are others on there going through the IVF process.

I can't exactly remember what my follicle sizes were but it looks like your right side sizes are a good size and maybe just with a few more days your left side will catch up too, fingers crossed for them.

I had 11 follicles (and I think they were about 17mm at my scan from memory) and from that 10 fertilized, 1 put back in and then I have 4 put on ice, so having 9 is still a very good number.

Try and hang in there and keep positive, it is such a scary time I know. Wishing you lots of good luck for the EC on Monday.

Thanks Scaredycat, how are you doing?  When are you starting your next

I had to get my blood test this morning for E2 and it was 8361 which means I might have 8 mature eggs.  I learnt that every 1000 represents one mature egg.   I think I will be a google and fertility pro after this!

The nurse phoned and said my ovidrel shot must be at 9.45pm tonight and then after that no more injections.  Think I am going miss that routine.  Then Monday at 9.45am is egg collection time.  I hope it is not too painful, knowing me I will be crying through it... drama queen that I am..

Your sounding like a pro already!!! I didn't know half the stuff you seem to know but I think I am a bit of head in the sand type person and deal with it when it happens rather than ask first, basically a chicken!!

Yah for the last injection for you tonight, they must be happy with your follicles so thats positive.

And I won't say EC is not painful as it is a little uncomfortable but very bearable and over very quickly. I found the nurses to be great and they sense if you are in too much discomfort and give you more drugs so don't worry about it too much (yeah right!!)

I had my review appointment yesterday which was good, they can't tell me why I miscarried but were pleased I did actually conceive as they see that as a positive sign (for them maybe, not sure about me though!!) And they are going to monitor by blood levels over the next couple of months and make sure its nothing to do with the low progesterone levels I had for a while. I have to wait for two "normal" cycles before starting again so have a bit of breathing space and am quite enjoying it at the moment after the very stressful three and a half week wait!

Anyway, all the best for Monday, look forward to hearing how you go.

Hi Shezoping

You are doing great! How was the trigger shot? where does it go, is it into a muscle or something? Did you give it to yourself as well?

Best of luck for tomorrow, I'm sure it won't be as bad as you think, thats what I'v heard from others on this site, but I know, I will be sick with worry too..

I know what you mean about the stress of how many chance you have, I think about it all the time. Its definitely like a rollercoaster as they say, just keep working through the fears and keep holding on to the positive.

Wishing best of luck for tomorrow

Hi Shopa,

I did my ovidrel shot exactly at 9.45pm (in my tummy) and it made me feel a bit sleepy (or maybe it is in my head lol) and went straight to bed.

Today has just been draagging, tomorrow just cant come soon enough... I am going to set my alarm and both our mobile phones to make sure that we get up early tomorrow.

Otherwise I have had no side effects at all.  Although I have been eating heaps!!! comfort eating perhaps?

Scaredycat, good that you are up and running and preparing for the next round.  Nice that you have two months off, now you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine.  Gosh there has been some nights when I have felt like one!

Thank you for the good wishes and all the best for everyone

Today they retrieved 9 eggs!  Lets hope they all become embies ... pleeeease

The nurses and embroyologist and everyone were very kind and gentle, there was hardly any pain, and the the sedation made me feel so fine.

Now to wait for the nurses call and the transfer date...

Well, got the call this morning...  5 of the eggs were too small to be fertilised and 3 have fertilised..   (not sure what happened to 1).

Now a two day long wait for them to be transferred.

Chin up and good wishes everyone.

I had my embies transferred today.  Day 3 and they were only 5 cells each.  I have to just hope in earnest that the little things grow and stick.   The third one had stopped at 2 cells, so no frosty.

Now the dreaded 2 week wait..

Hope everyone is doing fine

10 days past ET and I think things are not all good for at the mo.  I have taken a hpt and a BFN.  On top of that my boobs n nips are no longer sore, and I have had no other symptoms so I am sure that the little embies have not stuck.   Wednesday is my bloodtest but Im sure that it will just confirm it...

Hi Shezhoping, hang in there, not long to go now!!

Try not to read too much into all the different symptons and signs (I know its really hard not too) but they do say that all the drugs we have to take for IVF does give you different symptons to natural pregnancy and it could all be normal and a BFP!!!

I have fingers crossed for you on Wednesday. Lots and lots and lots of sticky embie vibes going your way!

I agree you won't know until the blood test. Not everyone gets 'signs or symptoms' and I too have heard that with ivf you might not always recognise a pregnancy as quickly as with a natural conception.

Must be tough waiting, sounds like you and your dh need to treat yourself and go out for a nice dinner or something!

I'm just hanging around waiting for May for my TER and desperately still trying to conceive al-la-natural, if you know what I mean. Although I don't think my chances this month are flash, my cycle seems to be a bit messed up after last months little episode.

Apart from that I'm still obsessed with this site and can't help myself to check on how everyone else is doing and hoping to hear some good news soon!!

I hope you are doing ok, I know just how hard that 2ww is, especially the last few days, it seems to take over your whole mind. Hang in there, think lots of positive thoughts! I have everything crossed for you.

Sorry to hear BFN, but here's hoping it was just too early to detect anything, I've read somewhere that some HPT's are not as sensitive as others, not sure which ones though, a lot of help I know, sorry!

Good luck for the blood test tomorrow.

Take care of yourself and your DH over the next few days/weeks, its such a hard time for you guys and you need all the love and support you can get at the moment.

Thinking of you and hoping you are ok.

Hiya Honeybun, I've just seen your message above and see you start your second round of IVF in July, good luck, I so hope it works out for you this time, fingers crossed.

Shezhoping it took me about a month to feel okay and back to feeling myself so I hope you have lots of lovely friends and family looking after you and your DH. If you get a chance talk to the counsellor even if by phone, it made me feel a bit better.

Thanks Scardeycat, best of luck for your TER in April/May. We had our review a few weeks ago and then received a letter pretty smartly to say start in July so was surprised we are back in again so quickly. But I think they don't make you wait as long for a second publicly funded cycle which I am pleased about. They are changing our protocol to a microflare with pill so hoping for better results. Now just have a bit of extra weight to lose so that I will know I have done absolutely everything possible.

Honeybun and Shopa I have just popped in and seen your messages, Thank You.

I have an consultation on 6th April with Fertility  Doctor to discuss my next steps, so will see what comes out of that.

I getting back to my normal self  and take comfort in the fact that we did get as far as making little embies.  I am still trying naturally (defeated but not deterred, lol) I have started taking my temperature and doing opk's.  I am on cd 11 and my LH is rising everyday... I can seen by the line getting darking on the ovulation tests and my temperature has started rising, meaning ovulation is near.

At the beginning of my IVF treatment I don't think I mentioned that they discoverd my insulin is high and prescribed Metformin for me.  So I am hoping that might be balancing out my hormones may be the winning  factor.

Scaredycat, if you are still checking out this forum, are you doing temperature and ovulation tests?

Shopa how are you doing?

Hope all is going well with everyone

Hi Shezhoping, I'm still popping in from time to time, and its really good to hear that you are starting to feel better now, it def takes time, I know some days for me are still bad but others I'm fine.

And good on you for doing the temps and ovulation tests, we are still trying naturally too, I have the little saliva microscope test things but not too sure how accurate they are, but no haven't been doing the temps and ovulation tests, but perhaps might be a good idea, what type of thermometer do you need?

I was actually reading about a lady in Auckland called Nikki Chad who is a Naturopath and was quite interested in what she's been doing and her success rates but when I spoke to FA they advised me not to do anything because of my TER being quite close now, check out her website though if your interested in that side of things, its quite interesting stuff.

www.naturalreproductivecare.co.nz

Good luck with your appointment in April and have my fingers crossed for you that you don't need it!!

hi Scaredycat,

I  bought a digital thermometer off trademe for about $10 dollars and the ovulation test sticks off ebay for really cheap,  $7 for 20, also pregnancy tests too.

It is quite interesting to watch your temperature rise as your hormones change.  I have been putting them on a chart on fertility friend ( http://www.fertilityfriend.com - http://www.fertilityfriend.com ).  Great website because they send you a daily lessons on ovulation signs and what your hormones are doing and other informative bits about what happens to your body.  I am enjoying doing this and wish I had done all this before the ivf ...

What cycle day are you on scaredycat?

Hi
I'm on the 2ww. EC was ok, ovary's getting quite crampy up to EC. I wasn't too bad on the right ovary and not sure if I felt much (they give you drugs to dull the memory) left overary collection a bit sore however it was all over quite quickly. Its great when its over, and takes a few days to recover so good to have dh on hand for a bit of pampering. I had 8 eggs and one immature. Got 5 embies, two have been replaced but nothing to freeze

Hope you all well and best of luck!

Hi Shezhoping, I looked at the website above yesterday and got very confused with it, but probably doesn't help that I don't have temps etc to input so it wasn't telling me anything!!

And I think your right its prob best to start with a fresh month so I'll get myself organised for April and see what happens, wouldn't that be the greatest, getting pg the natural way!!!

Re my TER, I'm not 100% sure if I'm doing a natural or manufactured cycle yet, I have to do some blood tests soon to figure out why my progesterone levels dropped so much last time and that will indicate to them what type of cycle I will be having, if its natural if will be around the end of May I think, if manufactured, who knows!!

How's everthing with you? How's the temps and charting going? I must admit I haven't done anything about that yet, just kinda stuck in limbo land waiting and have lost a little motivation at the moment.

I have my blood test in about a week which will be good to get the resutls from that and then maybe I might feel more inclined to get moving again.

Its a long waiting game isn't it, and I don't seem to have much patience at the moment!

Hi Scaredycat,  I have been temping and charting and doing OPKs and watching the girls on "two week wait" and " waiting for ovulation" forums, which has kept me motivated and determined!  I still have moments of sadness but try and get over it.

I have also started taking vitex, folic acid and vitamins - will try anything lol.

I take it the bloodtest you are having is the day 21 progesterone test?  They should give you a number and you will be able to tell if it is normal or not... I think it should be above 10??

I am job hunting at the mo and so have more time on my hands, so the days are much longer...
