Every night I can bet I will throw up between 6 and 7 generally but could be a little before and after. It sucks. Neither of the anti nausea drugs I've been given seem to get rid of this long term. I've had a couple of days of relief but that is it..

But anyway tonight it was late and my tea had already moved outta my tummy so I basically just threw up bile now my throat feels all burnt and is sore. I've taken some mylanta but it still hurts a bit.

Any ideas other than panadol?

What about slowly sipping on some milk? Or chocolate milk? Might put something back in your tummy to make you feel better?

milk is always a good one, also baking soda. it does the exact same thing as gaviscon and i have found it stops the burning from heartburn and indegestion so give it a go maybe

I agree- milk worked well for me. REALLY cold fresh milk. Even just half a small glass can neutralise everything.

Hang in there hon...

The milk didn't work last night. I must have burnt it good. So I'm just putting up with it now

Yoghurt can work better than milk, its thicker and more likely to stick to the oesphagus lining. Always works great for curries that are too hot for me!

I didn't really find anything that worked sorry to say. But having milk or something was better than doing nothing I guess. If your anti-nausea meds aren't working maybe you should talk to your Dr again? Mine helped, I went down to throwing up about once a day instead of about 10, but I was on a combo of 3 different meds, plus ranitidine for heartburn.

If you have a burnt throat, it would pay to get something like that to treat heartburn, if that's a problem for you, because that makes it ten times worse too

The other thing- try not to brush your teeth really hard after throwing up... def give them a swish but be careful as the acid will soften the enamel and you will just brush it all off. Another good thing about milk- good mouthwash after vomi. :)
The sooner you neutralise the burn after the event the better, like cold water on skin.

I vote for milk too, or even really cold water.
Stay away from orange juice
Hope you start to feel better soon!
