Hello 
Just out of curiosity, have you had your anatomy scan and did you find out the gender of your baby? Do share your experience / scan pic / baby's gender here! We're having ours at 19 weeks + on the 27th Jan... can't wait! Hope we get to see the gender  ------------- 1st baby!

We didn't find out the gender when I was pg with Jack and we won't with this baby either. Although I am quite a planner, I like the surprise. ------------- Lindsey

I am far too impatient, I found out the sex of our baby.
I double checked it at 36 weeks when I had a growth scan lol and I saw it clear as day. A little girl. I only told the Dec group and shared a pic there too. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

We found out at the scan.
The Sonographer had to point it out to me, and I was a little skeptical, but she explained that as there were no "dangly bits" she was definitely a girl 
spine across the top, baby facing down..  -------------

lol, we got a clean shot riiight between the legs, and most def a girl... lack of dangly bits, and the 3 white lines to say girl so there was no denying it... about as shy as big brother was lol (he bared all for the world to see as well)
wierd thing is, we got the perfect potty shot, but couldnt get to her heart or face at all... little so and so playing difficult already! will edit with a pic later once I can get a clear enough pic from the pics  ------------- Brandon - 05/12/2003

We had the gender scan, but as Elizabeth wouldn't open her legs we didn't know either way, she was our little surprise, her dad really wanted a boy while I was pregnant but when we finally got to meet our baby he fell in love and now doesn't even want to try for a boy as he's afraid we can't make perfect twice!  ------------- http://www.babysfirstsite.com">

We found out the gender at our 20wk scan also. Sonographer was 100% sure she was a girl, and though I have studied the dvd of the scan countless times, I can't really tell what is what down there lol ------------- http://lilypie.com">

We did a check at 20wks but couldnt tell as the legs were crossed!  but we recently found out at 28 weeks when she had her legs over her head!!
 so we having a lil girl :)

I had 2 scans at 20 weeks, a day apart & the second day we got toliet shots although on the first day we did find out that we are having a little boy.
This picture was done for my DH who was working in Oz at the time. I had a 28 week 4D scan done in Oz & he had his legs crossed for his Daddy but at my growth scan at 34 weeks & my check up scan last week the legs were wide open & DH missed all those too

We are due to have ours on 3rd Feb, Im unsure if I want to find out the sex or not. I have mulled it over in my head so many time and I still dont know. I have decided that because DF doesnt really get much say in the whole pregnancy, the he can decide if we find out the sex. At first he said NO but now he is starting to sway, I think by scan day he will have decided to find out. ------------- TTC since 06 with MFI IVF with ICSI 2007 BFN DI Sept 08=BFP DS 06/09 TTC #2 since June 2010 DI#2 Aug10=BFP MC@10weeks 2011= 10 rounds of DI 4 with clomid- all neg May 2012- IVF |

I went for a date scan at 12 weeks and found out it was twins which was a total shock! DH didn't want to know the sex but by the time we went back at 18 weeks he couldn't help himself. We were hoping for one of each but now that we have 2 beautiful healthy baby girls we couldn't be happier -------------

ok well mine was unclear it seems that Ty and this one look the same to me..........Ty was a surprise although i already knew from the way i felt..............this time i wanted a girl and 20 week scan said it was a girl 'no dangly bits' had to go back again and asked her and she said looks like a girl but baby was breach.................still i feel that i shouldnt get my hopes up as something always goes wrong with us..............one question.................wat happens if the baby is like 'small' if you get my point................ty wasnt all that big down there and i keep looking at his pics etc and i cannot find any of his boy parts present..............ps how do you get your scan pic on...............i have tried to get copies etc and i cant get them off the disk ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

We had our scan this morning and DH had to actually ask her to check as she'd started to pack up. She had a quick look then and said "I think this looks like a penis" but I have a low lying placenta and have to go back at 32 weeks for another scan so we can double check then. I've had a "feeling" all along that we were having a boy. I'll update with pics when I get a decent one of the video, the three she gave us are crap. ------------- TTC #2 |

We found out, there was no way i wasnt going to. Baby had her legs closed so took a while for the sonographer to move her around before she opened them (DH is hoping her keeping her legs crossed is a sign of things to come haha!)
We double checked at another scan i had. I still cant tell from the DVD or pic's either way Oh and we were sure we were having a boy beforehand -------------  Angel Baby Aug '12, Feb '13 |

We found out we are having a little girl at our 20week scan...and so pleased we did! Our sonographer also said she couldn't see any 'dangly bits' and that she was 95% certain it's a girl. I've been having girl vibes since about late trimester one, although DP thought it was a boy. I did hear an old wives tale about the faster the heartbeat, the more likely a girl, and a slower one means a boy. Dunno how true it is but our bubba has always had a very strong and fast heartbeat up to about 167bpm so maybe there's truth in it lol -------------   http://lilypie.com" rel="nofollow">

I found out what we were having. We were always going to find out what we were having because we wanted to buy the right colour clothes!
Our sonographer forgot to check and had switched off the machine and had to turn it back on for us. She started looking and said 'I think it might be a girl' but wasn't sure. Then it was like the little fella heard someone calling him a girl and he spread his little legs and clear as day there was a penis! DH was so excited because he really, really wanted a boy - so excited that he leapt out of his chair, across the room with his arms in the air yelling 'yes!!'. I was just relieved baby was okay but still was happy to find out the sex and would probably find out again. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

we still couldn't decide even during the 20 weeks scan so the scan-man wrote it down in an envelope for us to take home so we could peep if we wanted to know later.
DH carried this envelope around with him every day until it went through the washing machine when i was about 35 weeks pregnant . . . though by this point we had decided to wait anyway So we had a surprise at the birth, and would definitely wait again next time ------------- |

At our 20wk scan the lady was 90% sure it was a girl and was pretty confident about her findings. When I went for a 4D scan, I asked them to double check and now it appears we are having a boy! hehe - so unless they tell you they are 100% sure, there is always room for doubt

The first shot was his legs , I just said to the sonographer "is that the legs " and he said "yep" and I then just said "its a boy isnt it ?" his reply , "oh ,yes, definetly a boy " the last pic is the "money shot "  -------------
