It really annoys me when I buys something and find out someone else has it on special shortly after. So, I thought it might be handy to have somewhere that we could post things we see that are heavily discounted on on sale that may not be advertised. For Chch ladies, the Bendon outlet in Hornby has really comfy Elle McPhearson maternity bras on sale. Different colours are differently prized. You be best off if you are a slightly smaller size. (Unfortunately I've gone up to a 16DD and only had 30% off the normal prize. Still good though)
Also Baby Factory has a lot of stuff discounted. Sofar I hadn't been able to get a nappy bag I liked, and the main reason I wanted one was for the foldout changing mat. Yesterday I bought a foldout changing mat for only $12,99 (normally $26), so now I can turn any bag into a nappy bag. |

Baby Factory had 20% Genesis cots (floor models) - they are NZ made with NZ pine... think it might have finished though... not sure.

Shell - pamcocots on TM have cheap cots, we are getting a nice white one for $325, which can turn into a bed I think. Also remember depending on when you are having bubs they always have: -New Years -Waitangi Day -Easter -Anzac Day -Queen's Birthday -Labour Weekend -Pre-Christmas sales and I'm sure I'm forgetting more. But we just aim our next big purchase close to one of those and we usually strike it well. And if you can handle a CC (ie don't max it out lol) getting a Farmers Card is a great idea, as they always have sales coming up to Christmas (seriously, one every fortnight) and always have competitions to win $100 etc just by dropping a coupon instore. No account fees or anything. That's the only reason I got one - I buy the stuff on sale, then the next day go and pay it off lol. The kind of customer they hate

I went to Breastmates yesterday and bought 3 Hotmilk bras for $120. two were 50% off. awesome bras, so comfy and SEXY!
Frances is wonderful, and you can go in and get a bra fitting by appointment. Just flick her an email frances@breastmates.co.nz or ph 6240498. She's located in Royal Oak. This isn't exactly baby related but I found a godsend - heat pumps!
Saw an ad earlier, I am pretty sure it was Harvey Norman who had interest free and deferred payment terms on heat pumps. Plus there was up to $500 cash back towards installation ------------- Lindsey

Farmers has a card holder day on Thursday with some great specials.
All kids clothes are half price including Osh Kosh. I'd recommend ringing about the Mountain Buggy. At their Easter sale we went to see about getting one but the staff told us they were no longer stocking MB so it was floor stock only.
