me and DH are going camping this weekend and have access to a fridge and microwave. i was going to cook meals at home and freeze them strait away until we defrost them to eat over the weekend. will this be ok for me to eat if its heated up real good?
ETA: no freezer up there so they would be in the commercial fridge from sat morning and eaten sat and sunday nite

I'd be inclined not to eat them by the Sunday night, especially if there were meat in any of them, on the Saturday maybe... (same day)... but I am anal about keeping food / expiry etc. so clean out my fridge every other day if things haven't been used etc.

Mind you, I just re-read your post and if they are heated up to piping hot it might not be so bad... so would possibly consider it for the second night.

I personally would be OK with that - if they're chilled the whole time, then you heat them up til piping hot, that shouldn't give nasties a chance to grow. Everyone's different though so it's up to you and what you are comfortable with

If the are frozen and defrosted and eaten right away then there is no probs with that
