Am just looking at putting Jonathan into day care for a couple of days next year and juggling with days that we want to do actvities together e.g. music, swimming etc.      He has just turned 1 and is still having a morning sleep for a couple of hours and an afternoon sleep for an hour.   I'm aware that if I book anything now for the term that starts in February, his patterns might change. Is there a general age that babies change from 2 sleeps to 1 in the middle of the day?

my girl has just turned one and now has 1 sleep (unless she wakes at 6 and then I put her down about 8am for an hour) she usually goes down about 11:30-12pm for a couple of hours. then is awake from about 2-6:30pm.

Umm, I don't know think there is cut off point...although would be easier if there was.

My DS still has 2 big sleeps a day and sometimes will still have 3.

My DS is the same as Megan, he has just turned one and has dropped down to one sleep. So it could be hard to know what he is going to do. I would have thought by then he would have changed to one sleep, but who knows...

Ella dropped down to one sleep around 14 months, but now she still has to have the sleep before lunch so sleeps between 11-1.30ish.

edited to add: most toddlers her age seem to have their sleep after lunch through and while at daycare she can last until 12/12.30ish but at home she prefers to go down a bit earlier.
