We're thinking of getting one of these for Jackson at Christmas for when he's a wee bit bigger. We want to get an Evenflo one... but we're overwhelmed by all the choices!! Mega, Ultra....???

Does anyone have any recommendations, or does it really not matter?

We've got the Evenflo Mega for Emily and she just loves it. It's not overcrowded with too many bells and whistles, so you can still chuck some of bubs other toys on there for them to play with as well. At the moment, Emily loves to grab the sheep or pig (which are on bendy thingies) and make them bang against the rolly chicken thingy, and she's finally figured out that pushing down on the chicken on top of the barnhouse makes the music and lights go - so she's pretty chuffed with herself about that

And it's really easy to fold down and take with when going out too.

We got a really basic one given to us for Daniel. I don't think it matters what type you get. With the more basic ones with less toys you can change it up the toys a bit

Ohhhh Caden has a Evenflo Megasaucer and he LOVES it!!!!! We got it off trade me for $70 and its in perfect condition! I couldnt justify paying $250 for a new one when this one looks new!

We've got a different one - I liked the colours the most - but don't think it really matters which one you get. The one we have, has been loved by both girls and they both developed really good hand-eye co-ordination quite early. Plus it keeps babies entertained - we love ours!

Cool. Good to hear it doesn't matter!

I am going to start scouring TradeMe. :o)

I wish I was in Auckland (ok, not really, but theoretically!) because you have such better options for "pick up". Always limited results in Wellington, but postage is too inhibiting.

Shena - Caden looks cuuuuuute!

We have a Bright Starts Activity Table/Exersaucer. The chair rotates around the outside of the table and can be detached from the table once the bubs can stand.

ETA: Oopsie I just saw you want to get an Evenflo one

We hired one. I didnt wanna pay the stupid price of something that he's not really gonna use for all that long. The one we have is the same as Cadens one, but blue.

We hired one too for each baby (exactly the same as Caden's). Like MissAngel we couldn't justify spending so much on something that they would grow out of so quickly.

If you can get a great deal like Sheena then it's totally worth it! Lilia absolutely loves it. She is almost too big for it now and is almost tipping it over cos she bounces so much. We've only had it for a couple of months too.
