Hello
I am looking at getting a stash of bottles in case breast feeding doesn't work and also to hopefully express one a day for DH to do the late evening feed.
Would love to hear what bottles have worked well for people, I am leaning towards tommee tippee at the moment, have heard they are suppose to be good for helping prevent reflux and for being similar to a breast... but as this is my first I really have no ideas!!

If you are intending to express and then offer EBM in a bottle I would recommend that you get the same band of bottle and pump - it makes it much easier when everything is interchangable.
Can't advise on Tommee tipee as I haven't tried them (they do aound good though) I have always used avent - what my MW suggested when bf was not going well with DD1. Have worked well for us, but i never tried any other.

I like avent and tommee tippee closer to nature. Both are good options. But don't get too many. Some bubs are fussy about the type of bottle. Maybe just get 1 or 2 and then if you do need them then go out and get more.

I used Tommee Tippee with DD1 and Plunket Chuchu teats - never had any problems with alternating between BF and the bottle.
Because of my increased paranoia over chemicals this time around I'm going glass - and have bought a few Evenflo glass bottles. Will have to wait and see how they work out.
ETA: I also used medela for my expressing - and just defrosted the milk and tipped it into the bottles (from the plastic bags) as needed.
Sorry I'm not much help.
