Evening

Is anyone suffering from a sore tailbone? Im 35 wks and Im finding it very painfull standing up coz my tailbone just throbs with pain & it feels like its really heavy, When im sitting down it's not to bad but when I stand up it's like OMG. Could it be that bubs has turned Posterior or is it due to all the ligaments and stuff stretching. I know this is my 7th pregnancy but I've never had this problem in the past only with this pregnancy...

Any info would be much appreciated..

Thanks

Hiyah

I'm not sure what it could be, but Hannah turned posterior a few days before I went into labour and my tailbone was really sore. So you could be onto something with your suspicions...
When is your next MW appointment?
Hopefully that'll put your mind at ease.
In the mean time - try to take it easy

My nxt MW is on wed plus I've got a scan just after that so hopefully I'll find out what this little guy is up to...The only comfy seat in my house is computer chair so I scoot around on that as much as I can LOL...(which probably doesnt help sitting on my arse all day) Im hoping he hasnt turned posterior coz I havent heard very good stories about posterior labours and Im sh*tting myself actually,  My normal labours were sore enough...

Well, I don't have any basis for comparison - but posterior labour wasn't really that much fun

I got through it with gas and pethidene. But I don't really remember it being as bad as I thought it would be.

Your mw and scan will show what's going on, and you'll have a few weeks to try to turn him and work out a plan.

Oh, I had this! My tail bone was so incredibly painful during the latter stages of pregnancy. I also have Pubis Symphisis and almost got put in the strappy uppy pair of undies looking thingy.

Couldn't do anything about it at all.

Except whinge. A lot.

Least we can really say that it is a real pain in the ass, LOL....It's such a buggar that theres really nothing we can take for the pain aye! My MW told me to take panadol but panadol does jack for me. Oh well only a few more weeks to go now....Sometimes this is the price we pay to have our beautiful bundles of joy...It's all worth it...
