My feet and ankles are sore tonight. The feel tight like they are swollen, but they dont look swollen... very odd and uncomfortable

Any ideas? I just cant think what it might be... it seems a bit early to be getting swelling! Though my larger than life pre preggy size might have something to do with it

i used to get that quite often... usually later at night and it normally meant it was time to go to bed...

i think it is called restless legs!

Stick your feet up above your heart that may help.

i gt it really early in my pg cos i stand up for work then it went away again when i started sitting down. it is probably fluid retention. make sure you keep up 2 litres of water a day and see if they go down. its real horrible having sore feet, hope they come right

Hmm I did have me elevated last night and it did seem to go away. I left my water bottle in a meeting room yesterday and for some reason when I drink from a glass I never refill it... Dont know why.

I have a new bottle so will make sure I drink a lot today and see if that helps too.

Thanks gals.

Mel, I think it's mandatory at this stage for DH to start giving you foot massages of an evening

I get some painful fluid retention too. Like you it's not really noticable, but it really hurts later in the evening. I read a tip somewhere to slightly elevate the back of your bed, by putting a book under the back legs (I put a small plank under each leg) and it really seems to help.
