Yeah I think so. Daniel is 16 months and gets up anywhere between 7-7:30 and goes down for his nap 1pm. If he stays up longer, say if we are out at lunch at a restaurant, he will cope staying up longer but you can see he's getting tired

Wow my 2 year old can barely last that long with out sleep. i think at 11 months he was still having 2 naps a day. 1 at 10.30 and the other at 2. Is she grumpy and irritable at that stage?

Tom has just gone back to wanting 2 sleeps and only lasts 2 hrs in the morning before his morning sleep. He goes down for his afternoon sleep about 2pm. So wake up 7am, sleep 9-11am, sleep 2-3.30. Bed at 7pm

Luke is on pretty much the same schedule as Tom - tho he wakes earlier... (bugger!)
6am wake (6.30am getup), sleep 9am - 10.30ish, sleep 2pm-3.30ish and then bed around 6-7pm
Some days I wonder if he is ready to drop a sleep, but if he misses one he sleeps extra well during the day the next few days... catching up!

yeah I thought it might be a bit long..some days she only has 2 sleeps of about 30-45 minutes each.
think I will still keep her at 2 sleeps she will quite often just play in her cot for a good 30 minutes.

Luke was in his cot for 2hrs yesterday before he fell asleep!! I put him down at 2pm as normal, but we had had friends around for lunch so he was pretty hyped up and I thought he might take a little while to settle. At 4pm I went in to get him up and he had finally fallen asleep (Slept for 45 minutes). He was happily talking and playing in his cot for the full 2 hrs, no crying or whinging...
So yeah the 2 sleeps thing doesn't always work out for us, but usually evens out
