I also started on my injections last wednesday
so i got my results this arvo and my levels have TRIPLED to 900 and something.....going for a scan next monday....
OMG what a trip im going on.

Oh Kazzle that is wonderful news. Is Rhiannon still going to day care a few mornings so you can rest? Have you got some good friends or family who can really help you to just take quietly for the next couple of months?
I am so glad to read your update.

Oh geez Kaz - I hope that it is because it is a good un!!! I hated the waiting thing, seriously does your head in, so I really feel for you. Take as much time out as you can, even if it's just to read a book or sit in the bath for half an hour "quiet time" if Kent can look after Rhiannon for that time...
Ohhh....good luck!!!!

i knew it!!!!!
i didnt want to say on the other thread but i felt you should just hang in there and wait and see. I remember on several occasions with gabriel being told my HCG's were crap....
if you havent already get yourself a relaxation tape and try and have some quiet wind down time a couple of times a week...

You are writing your story Kaz - on here. You have no idea how you've helped me just because I have read all of your threads over the last year or so. You are such a strong woman, and I always have that in my head - if you can go through it and come out strong on the other side, even though it's so heartbreaking, then that makes me think I can too.

Kazzle, thats wonderful news! Hopefully you have a nice sticky baby burrowing in deep
How are the injections going? Are you doing them yourself or getting DH to do them? I am probably going to have to have them when I get pg and I'm dreading it!!

I give the injections myself.....the very first time a nurse shows you how to do it, and its advised to take your partner with you, just incase you cant do it yourself.
takes all of 30secs each morning to inject and on with the day i go, i was dreading it as well, but its been easy, im sure you will be fine.
and i would much rather inject myself than have someone do it, especially if its DH as if he is sh*tty with yah, i would hate to think how rough they could be..lol

i actually find they dont hurt unless i have the needle at the wrong angle, and it always hurts when someone else does it, as they arent gentle

Oh Kaz, I've been thinking about you so much, hoping and praying (and I'm not the praying kind so there ya go! ) that this little bubba is being kind to you. I do hope you can rest, I know its not as easy, but it'll be worth it.
Glad the injections aren't too bad, how long are they for? Do they go right up to the 18week mark (someone I know had them till then so just wondering).

What are the injections and what do they do? I'd never heard of them before being on this site. Hey, great if they work but it seems so invasive I'd faint if I had to inject myself. I can't even put eye drops in!
