Hi

Thought it might be fun to speculate now at what 'colour' we think we might be having....then go back once we've given birth to see how accurate we were! lol

I'll start the ball rolling.....

I think I have a blue bean. So much trouble already, it has to be a boy haha

I thought I was having a blue one (thought so right from the beginning!) and I was right.

I think the next one's gonna be a blue one too. Not that I'm pregnant or want to be any time soon, I just have a feeling that in a few years time I'm gonna have another boy

ETA: Emmecat are you gonna find out at the scan or wait til bubs is born? Eee so exciting!

I was soooooooooo convinced i was having a little girlie, no idea why, but totally convinced, was a bit of a suprise when they said it was a boy. The funny bit was when we told family and friends they all said yeah we thought you'd have a boy.

Just need the little man to come out now.

Arohanui- lol boys aye haha  No I don't think we'll find out the sex...we'd both love a girl cos we have 2 boys already (1x stepson and 1x foster son) and 'only' 1 girl (stepdaughter)....so another girl would balance things out but we don't really mind TBH  Healthy and happy is our priority!

(And yes it is gonna be like the Waltons at our house lol)

I was so sure I was having a blue one, just a gut feeling and all my dreams were of baby boys. But now I'm all confused because my last few baby dreams have all been girls, and I caught myself saying "she" about the baby the other day lol! So who knows?! I just tried asking my gut feeling if it feels like a girl or a boy at the moment, and first it came up with boy, then quickly said "no, girl!" argh now I want to find out (not going to though ) will let you know in 5 months or so which way it goes hehe

Hmmm - I REALLY don't know!

DH is adamant that he wants a girl, but  Ihonestly 100% don't care either way.

I have a teeny tiny incling towards feeling like it's a boy, but who really knows aye?

It'll just be a surprise come next May!

Hi Emmecat. I know you said you think you're having a boy because of the trouble already, but my girl gave me heaps of trouble too When I was pregnant with Ems I had a feeling almost immediately that she was a girl, and my MW reckoned a girl too because of the trouble she was causing.
Fingers crossed you get your little girl.

Hi I already know what im having but I'll put my 10cents worth in anyway, LOL...

I was soooo sure this would be another girl so right up to my 20wk scan I made myself believe I was having a girl ( I have 6 girls alredy & I didnt want to set myself up for disappointment) I saw the little extra bits in the pic and the sonographer was 100% sure I was cooking a boy & I kind of believed it coz it looked nothing like girly bits coz I could clearly see the scrotum and penis.

With my last pregnancy I was told I was having a boy at my 20wk scan & I went for another scan at 24wks and a little fanny was revealed and sure enough out popped a girl.  With this current pregnancy I went for another scan @ 24 weeks and his extra bits were still there and as clear as day. So finally after 6 girls I finally have a little falla on his way and I probably still wont really believe it until I see the goods in real life. LOL...

Hi all, i had really wanted a girl, but had a deep down feeling that baby was a boy.

So when i found out i was having a boy i wasnt as surprised as i thought i would have been.

I also had that whole is it a boy or girl according to those old wivestales, i had a fast heartbeat at 15weeks so everyone thought girl, then the heartbeat had slowed down abit by 17weeks so everyone thought it was a boy.

A few people that are close to me also thought it was a boy right from the start.

So now i just hope i have my little princess next and she can have a awesome big brother to watch out for her.

In the earlt stages of pregnancy I thought bubs was a boy cause verytime I imagined bubs I always thought of a boy, then people started saying they thought we were having a girl, but 2 scans so far have said boy.

I initially thought it was a boy, then thought it might be a girl, and then went back to solidly thinking it was a boy - my mother, brother and sister in law were all convinced it was a boy as well - but it's a little girl, showed pretty clearly on the last scan

Oh fun!

I think I'm having a big boy. With no hair. And a mighty set of lungs...

Is someone clever enough to make a due date type list with the guesses??

im really bad at guessing this for myself! lol

With my first boy we all thought girl just for the 'feeling' and i cried when the scan showed boy! (what a dork ay!).

Then second time around EVERYONE! was convinced it was a girl! all the wives tales and even my MW but nop out poped another boy

this time i reckon its another boy just because my DH seems to like to make boys! lol but i would LOOOOVVVEEE a girl now

then again it would be so neat to have 3 boys!

When I was pregnant with DD my sister was convinced I was having a girl. I tried to find out at the 20 week scan, but she had her legs crossed so couldn't see. My sister even drew a picture of 'my future niece'. DD now has it in her memory book.

I keep changing my mind, at first I was quite sure it was a boy, but lately I have been catching myself calling bubs her or she. Think I might go do the ring test now and see what that comes up with.....

Dh told me bubs was a boy the day we got the test confirmed! 20 weeks scan proved it was def a boy despite 80% of my team at work convinced it was a girl (some because I had been so sick). One poor girl lost a bet she was so convinced I was carrying pink

Hubby wants it to be a boy. I would like it to be and when I imagine having a baby around the house it's always a boy but for some reason I feel like I'm having a girl. I hate surprises so we are definately finding out!

With Ashlee, I thought I was having a boy the whole way up until the 20 weeks scan and it revealed a girl.

With this one, I've already had a very vivid dream about giving birth to a baby boy! Ashlee says she wants a brother. I can't say though that I'm feeling one way or the other yet. Can't wait to find out!

I have dreamt it is a boy, DH would like a boy, but I'm trying to be neutral and be happy with either. We do tend to run to girls in our family, so we'll see. We are TOTALLY going to find out. I don't know how people can wait!

I have a feeling this is a girl. Especially as my ms is heaps worse this time around. But like surfergirl I had a dream I was having a boy!

Happy with either though!

I'm going to get the sonographer to take a peak at the 12 week scan... I know they can't be too sure at that stage, but I would really like to know!

I think it's blue, DH thinks it's pink.

Some of our friends are convinced it's pink because of:
1) My hormones
2) The fact we are 100% set on a girls name, but can't decide on a boys name.

Lol spirals, the fact that you have girls names but not boys names would tell me you are having a boy, murphy's law and all that

This is such a fun thread, i cant wait to look back and see how many of you were right

With DD, i "knew" i was having a girl, but didn't allow myself to admit it, in case i got attached to the idea of a daughter and was upset if i was proven wrong,i had all the signs pointing towards a boy tho, as far as ring tests, and dreams etc went ,but when i had another scan at 36 weeks that showed a definite girl ,i just thought, "yeah...i knew that "

with the next one, i don't care either way, i love having a girl, and always wanted a girl first , so if its a boy , i dont mind, i still got my daughter, and if its another little girl ,that would be wonderful too .
Tho, Caitlyn has informed me that if i have a boy baby she will kick it out the window and run away to Disney land

Hehe thanks Roksana.

OMG Kelly that's so funny of Caitlyn!!! I have the same sort of views as you on the gender thing. I love having a girl and I guess, even though the first time round, I really thought I was having a boy, maybe it was some sort of psychological preparation because I think I really, really wanted a girl. So this time, I can genuinely say that I don't mind what the gender of this baby is!

LOL Caitlynsmygirl - that's funny. My brother and his wife just had their 2nd one and their 9 year old daughter told them before it was born that if it was a boy she was going to punch it in the head and run away. Luckily - it was another girl *lol*

With my 1st I was sure I was having a boy but I had a girl.
With my second I was convinced it was a girl and she was.
This time around I felt like it's a boy but the scan lady said "I think it's a girl" so I convinced myself it is a girl despite how vauge the scan lady was but I still have days where it feels like a boy mostly because everything is so much different with this pgy than the last to. I guess time will tell.

With our first I thought we were having a boy as all the other ladies in our antenatal class had girls, except for one boy, so with the odds etc which assumed it was a boy. So when she was born it was such a surprise.

I think I'm having another girl as the pregnancies are very similar and I'd like another girl - but not sure if thats wishful thinking!
