My 22 month old started vomiting last Sunday. The whole family got it but we got better and we put it down to virus. Daughter was vomiting nonstop for 2 days, had 1 day off and has only vomited 3 times in the last 6 days (all at about 6pm at night ie just before dinner) It seems an awefully long time to recover. I have taken her to the Dr but they are not concerned as she is not dehydrated, no diarhea or fever. Shes is perfectly fine apart from the odd vomit. I know its not normal. Has anyone else had this???? I will be taking her another Dr in a few days if it still continues. Thanks for your help.

We had a similiar thing about a month ago. My oldest was throwing up for about a week. She would only ever throw up once every 24 hours and was always in the middle of the night. We took her to the doctors and they said it was a virus as well. Its a bit hard not to worry though. Is she still eating and drinking normally? Does she seem herself during the day?
I'm sure it will just pass eventually and is just one of those things, a bit of a pain though especially as they aren't the best at keeping it contained. We went through soo much washing that week.
Hope she gets better soon!

Oh you poor things

Sometimes some family members get viruses worse than others and that's why they last longer, but if you're not happy with your doctors assessment definitely get a second opinion.

Is she eating atm?  Sometimes people can be particularly sensitive to certain foods (like chicken, ham, milk etc) after a stomach illnesses.

I hope she comes right soon.

we all had this a few weeks ago too. charli got it first, no signs she was sick, just woke up one morning in a pile of vomit
i didn't think anything of it because she ate her brekkie and was running around as normal.
next morning was the same
she only seemed to vomit during the night and was fine during the day
this lasted 5days...........then i got it and had it for almost 2wks, jack got it for 3 days and DH didn't get it at all

just keep her fluids up, small amounts often. hope she's over it soon

Hey we just had the same thing - a 24 hour bug that we all got. Gabrielle got it through the night and was perfectly fine the next day however the day after that she was sick again! The runny poos carried on the rest of the week but she was fine in every other respect and was eating and drinking as normal. It's hard not to worry about these things though hey! Hope your DD feels better soon!
