I got a BFP this morning.. well I wouldn't call it big, but there was a faint line so yay!
Now I'm going through my paranoia phase of my mind freaking out at any twinge on my left side (where I had the ectopic last time).. Even though this time I have NO spotting like last time which is very good... I just need slapping. Paranoia isn't gonna do me much good. I'm off to the docs at 10. Hopefully I don't have to wait tooo long for a scan to put the paranoia back in its box

YAY! Congrats Stacey! You must be due round the same time daniel was born? This is when I got my BFP last year(roughly, im not sure the exact date lol) and Caden was due the 10th

yayness and you have had enough slaps lol, I was the same with the beginning of this pregnancy as well with miscarrying last Feb , sending lots of sticky positive vibes for a healthy pregnancy for you and hoping you don't have to wait to long for that scan! Wow there is heaps of us that are preggers in Palmy on here now lol -------------

I've had bloods done. He told me to go back to him in a week complaining of pain if I still want a scan lol.

 my hcg levels are really low, as in the doc was surprised I even got a positive preg test..
so either... it's another ectopic or i ovulated and therefore got preg much later than what i think i did. So I'm seeing my doc on thursday and he's going to get me an urgent scan to see where it is and I think I'm getting bloods done on monday *sigh* |

Hugs Stacey, low levels aren't neccessarily bad! Mine were only 37-ish with lil miss on my first test. There is such a huge variation in what's normal.

| Stacey - I'm thinking of you. I got a + HPT last Friday...bloods done Monday which were 7, started bleeding Tuesday, Wednesday's bloods were 22 and today's bloods were 38 (and yes, I'm still bleeding lightly) so I hope that things continue to double for you too. |

No, I went to the docs today though because I'm sick as hell. He said he would rather I had it on thursday, then there is a weeks worth of rise to look at and I have to phone my doc on friday morning and he will tell me what the plan is, whether I keep up with bloods and he will write me up a scan referal on friday.
He wants to do it this way as well because the longer I wait to have the scan the better the chance is that they will see something rather than having to go through it just to be told they can't see anything and to come back |

Hi, I know exactly how you feel, I was in limbo land in July / August waiting for my hCG to rise high enough for a scan to check if I had an ectopic. They were the longest days ever, but you will get through them. Its really hard because it is such a major thing to go through and most people don't even know you're pregnant yet. For me, it was not ectopic it was just a corpus luteum cyst playing up (same side as I had had ectopic) and giving me hell!! It was so sore that I was absolutely convinced it would be an ectopic.
As you know, the fact you are sick is an awesome sign! Your hormones are surging nicely. Best of luck for thurs and tell that doc to get a fire under his a** and book you in for a scan ASAP!!!

I don't have any pain or spotting which I guess is good. But I didn't have pain last time but I did have spotting.
What sucks more is that I have an assignment due next week and it's a big assignment so I'm trying to learn the material to use for the assignment and get it all done early in case things do turn bad |
