I think you would have to go to Waitakere Hospital.

I agree Bunny Cummings is awesome she was my backup m/w and my actual m/w was Debbie Ross. She was fabulous and I will use her again for my next pregnancy too!

Hi kit I live in Te Atatu South and have used Maternity Matters on Woodford Ave with both pregnancies (they're just off Lincoln Road).. I guess once you have a midwife they can tell you about options in terms of where to deliver..

You can choose to go to Auckland if you want - it just depends where your midwife has access agreements. I would recommend my midwife as she was fab & I used her for both pregnancies, but she's just had a baby herself.

My mw and her backup are both fantastic - Louise Lucas (Moir) and Glenda Southey. They have a practice in Green Bay. Louise definitely does both Auckland and Waitakere Hospitals, as well as birthcare. Hope you find a good one!

You didn't happen to have Angela Mitchell did you? I had her for Jack and was hoping to have for #2 but can't as she has just had a baby, grrr!

The Waitakere Hospital Midwife Liason helped me get in touch with a avaiable midwife - I am seeing Noreen Mckina - the clinic is on Lincoln Road just a bit further down past the hospital. Only been there once so far, but she was nice.
