Hi everyone,

Well I am now 7 weeks 2 days and I went into the doc again today.

I had had a little brown discharge at weeks 5 and 6 - but only for a couple of hours and then it disappeared. Because of that, last week the doc arranged for me to have bloods done to check my hcg. At 6 weeks it was 92,000 and at 6 weeks, 7 days it had only risen to 121,000. The nurse who reported the results to me sounded worried but she checked with the doctor who said that as long as the hcg is rising they're not worried.

THEN, last night I had major cramps that I couldn't mask with panadol and I was tossing and turning all night. To make things worse, my bb's have shrunk down from what they were a few days ago (but they are still bigger than normal). I'm not imagining the bb thing because DH noticed they had got smaller too.

The doc felt my tum and while it was a bit tender it wasn't really sore. She said that was a really good sign, and so is the fact I'm feeling nauseous.
She didn't order more bloods (which I kind of wanted) but said that I should try and arrange a scan next week to see what's happening.

What do you guys think? Naturally, I'm a little stress bunny at the moment, but its really hard to relax! The bb thing freaks me out, could this be a missed miscarriage??

's. Best thing to do is to get that scan asap. If it helps I had that happen to me at the same time when I was pregnant with Andrew. I did panic a lot and well he is here now so hopefully for you, you get the same result.

hun your HCG totally slows down and will eventually start to taper off again. As a guide, my HCG at 5w3d was 21990 and at 6w3d was 64900. The nurse said this was spot on and next week will the rise will be even less....

the only thing that will truely tell you if everything is ok is that scan.... the sooner the better!

good luck hun, fingers crossed that everything is fine.

Oh hun . The worst part is not knowing! I agree with Becks and Mel, get a scan done asap.

Or if you are really concerned go to you closest Emergency dept so you can get it done straight away.

Good luck, I hope your body is just playing tricks

Big support vibes for you and best of luck for your scan when you get it done Fingers all crossed. I have read and heard a lot about people cramping and even heavy bleeding during preg and it all turning out absolutely fine

Hi,

Thanks for your supportive words ladies!

Well my bbs have blown up again today to nearly their former glory, and I felt super crook all afternoon (wanted to put my head on the keyboard and go to sleep). So that makes me feel a bit better, just hoping for the best.

I have my first appt with OB on Monday so will insist on a scan.

I promise that in non- preggy related things I'm so NOT a drama queen

Fingers and toes crossed, we have gorgeous furry babies but we really want a human baby too!
