Hi Ladies,

Well, DH and I are back on the TTC bandwagon as of a week and a half ago. (woot!)

Now, I know I'm probably being hyper-sensitive to everything right now, but since last night, and most of this morning (including right now) I have been having intermittent, sharp – not quite stabbing – pains in the vicinity of my right ovary-kind-of-area.

Does anyone know what this might be?

TIA

Could be ovulation pains. From memory mine was something shocking.

Hi Joscia, yeah that sounds like ovulation pains to me. I get them on my left side only. Mine are more of a dull throbbing pain but I am glad I have them (meaning I'm ovulating and all) This is the first month since we have moved back from Australia that I have felt them.

If you are worried maybe you should mention it to your dr next time.

Thanks ladies.

Hmm - that's interesting. I've never felt these before, so I guess it's just weirdly coincidental that it's happening just as we've started TTC...?

They've been lingering for most of the day now, although it's now more kind of a persistent ache, rather than the sharp pains.

I don't really know when in my cycle I'd be ovulating - it's been roughly 43 days long for the last few - and I'm now at day 32 so I guess this could make sense??

Wonder what we'll be doing tonight, then!
