I know there are heaps of threads on pains people are getting but wasn't sure if they're similar to what I have.
I'm getting pains that are like AF is due but they're only mild. Just slight crampy feelings and I would swear AF is due if I wasn't pg. Nothing else that would alert my to something being wrong. I had those all through the first part of my first pregnancy ,and my MW said it was everything stretching. But a phone call tomorrow wouldn't hurt, just to put your mind at ease. ------------- Andie |

Yep they sound normal, if they become painful instead of just uncomfy though then a phone call to your midwife wouldn't hurt just to make sure and put your mind at ease, afterall that is what they are there for. -------------

i had tummy pains and expected that everything was just moving out of the way and making space for bubs etc, but i also got a serious sharp ache on one side of my lower back. it went away and a month later the pain came back.. after putting up with the pain and 2 sleepless nights i had a urine test and turned out to be an kidney infection and doc said it was common during first pregnancies.. also if left untreated a urine infection can bring on labour.
so if there is pain in the kidney area of your lower back, should check with your doc to be sure ------------- http://lilypie.com">

ETA: when this came up in AN class, the CBE said mention it to your MW if it happens before the third trimester. ------------- Mum to two wee boys |
