Hi all

Not sure if we are ready to TTC yet, but would like advice from anyone who had IVF or an IUI to conceive their first child and conceived their second child naturally.

Are there any positions or dietary things that you can do to increase the chance of conceiving?

We have unspecified infertility, which means there is apparently no problem but after a year of trying by ourselves and then another two years of fertility treatments we had our first child. We had an IUI to get her.

She is only 5 months old, so in no great hurry yet, but we aren't using contraception as if I did get pregnant naturally now I wouldn't mind.

So any tips to help increase the chances of falling pregnant would be appreciated. And for those that did get pregnant naturally the second time after fertility treatments the first time, did you do anything differently?

I dont have any experience with IUI but I just wanted to say it can happen alot easier 2nd (or in my case 3rd) time around!  I have PCOS which was diagnosed after my 7 year old was born, and it took us 8 rounds of clomid, 2 years and a miscarriage to get Leo, and then Drew was conceived first month off the pill, I was expecting it to take a few years again so you just never know!  Good luck!!

and  at Gabs being 5months old!!  Doesnt time fly!!

Thanks Kiwimummy, yes time sure does fly, can't believe Drew is 6 months already.

I hope it does happen more easily for us this time, we will get another IUI if we have to but I would rather get accidentally pregnant before I have to think about it, well accidentally on purpose I guess
