So I'm only just over due and I wasn't worried but saw my MW yesterday and she is concerned that I am measuring small (back to 35weeks) and that there doesn't seem to be a lot of fluid around bubsicle.
Baby isn't engaged so its not a result of him dropping down into my pelvis.
Anyways she has booked me in for a scan today to check the amount of fluid left and to decide about induction etc.
I'm really not keen on induction. Has anyone else had low fluid after their due date and what happened??

I haven't had any babies but I do know a girl who's fluid ran low when she went over. They ended up inducing her when she was two weeks late. Bubs is fine but she wasn't too happy with the midwife letting her go so far over!

Apparently from what I have heard the Amniotic Fluid reknews itself every three hours or something?????? And if there is a little leak...it seals itself????

Hear that at hosp when on the ward....

When I was in the process of getting induced with Andrew I had a decreased amount of fluid around him but he came a week early (an induction for pre eclampsia) and was fine.

Inductions aren't that bad. I have had 2 now and had no major problems.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
