we have a nappies for less store at our local shops. Just wondering what you guys recommend re: disposables from here? As they sell in bulk, don't really want to buy and they turn out to be rubbish! Just in newborn and infant size as I do intend on going cloth in the next few months.
Thanks!

We're doing well with Huggies at the moment - Thomas is in Infant size, which seems is the ONLY one they done do in bulk! Talk about annoying. I'm staying with disposables, I really cant be arsed with cloth.

We have a Nappies for Less around the corner from us, and we buy from them. We get 75 nappies for $20. They are in a clear plastic bag and are fantastic, I've never had any problems with leaking etc.

When Cooper was younger I brought a box of Cosies (4 bags of 48 nappies in each packet., in the box.) They were $55.

You can ask for some samples of the different nappies Tammy.

Your profile says Hamilton, so are you meaning the one at Grandview? If so, I haven't had any personal experiences but my friend has twins who are 22mths and she recons their nappies are crap lol.
The have recently changed management. Perhaps ask for a sample, you never know.

not sure what brands they have but we used dryups that we bought online with my eldest daughter.

Currently we're using "Baby Supreme" nappies which are ok but not as good as dryups (but i got a cheap deal which is why we bought them)
My brother and SIL have bought us a heap (384) of Nanny nappies as a new baby gify which is what they use and recommend.
I'll probably go back to dryups though when they're all done as I really like them and have never had any issues with them

We use the Jumbo Jet Nappies from there and they are great. I have had no problems with them at all. I pay $25 and get 75 nappies thats for Large but i think the smaller the sizes the more you get.....

I have used cosies or dry ups and they have been awesome.. way cheaper than huggies and have lasted well.. HOWEVER it can depend on the baby! my first born leaked thru ALL (including huggies) this one hasn't!

We have a nappies for less here in papakura and can recommend the Moltex OKO brand. They are made from recyclable material and don't contain that gel stuff most disposables have in them and don't irritate bub's bum. They look quite deceiving and you might think they wont hold much but they really hold a lot of liquid with no leaks. We actually use cloth nappies most of the time but use the Moltex disposables when going out and as a night nappy lasting up to 12 hours overnight. They might be a bit on the pricey side but worth it if you're a little more environmentally conscious and want to combine the use of the occassional disposable with cloth nappies because you don't need to buy them all the time.
