well I have had a really sore tummy on and off all day. Last week I was having a huge clean out bowel wise and now I get the cramping like I am about to explode, but when I make the run to the toliet nothing comes out. It is really weird.    Has anyone else had this and do you think it could be the atart of something.   I went to M/W today and she said Emily is really really low.
ETA: It was deffintly not a tummy bug or anything lik,e that cause i was not sick at all and did not even feel sick.

Hehe, warning this could be a TMI reply....

At 36 weeks I had the exact same feeling and was really worried the early stages of labour were happening, but later that evening ....... I let out the longest, loudest fart I've ever heard in my life!!!!!  It was hilarious , and a huge relief that bubs wasn't on his way out.  Can't remember what I ate that day to cause it?

I have had that on and off for the last couple of weeks. Usually corresponds to something that Ive eaten that has given me gas. Im told its just your bodies way of loosening everything up before labour.

Are you sure you are not constipated now after having your big cleanout last week.????? That can give you the same symptoms you are having.....

it could be wind or it could be the start of something... but you will know... i remember having heaps of tightnenings and braxtons and general tummy aches in the last weeks, and in early labour was having good contractions i clearly remember saying to carlo during one "oooh how could i forget that?!" lol, so i knew the difference in braxtons and early labour ones.
i also had clearout too, was in and out of the loo lots in the last weeks (especially in labour)

wont be much longer deb! the end is closer and i sooooooo cant wait to hear news of emily's arrival and see pics of you both

He he - this is exactlty the way my labour began. Eight hours later I had my little boy! For the first two hours I was convinced I had indigestion - it took me that long to realise that going to the toilet wasn't helping and that the pain was quite regular!!

Good luck Butterfly mum - I wonder where you are now?!
