Hi everyone, I was just wanting some advice on whether it is worth bying Save our Sleep (Tizzie Hall) or the Sleep Easy solution or anything else that may help us??

Reason being is that our 6 month old is still waking 2 to 3 times a night and the day sleeping has also packed up of late (not that it was ever great!). We are back to 45min sleeps during the day.

I really can't work this baby out, not sure if there is something underlying going on or it is just habit now?? So was looking online at some of these resources but it is so hard to know if they are worth spending the $$ on.

Any recommendations would be appreciated or if any one knows of any sleep help type place in the CHCH area that would be most appreciated as well. Thanks heaps

We used the sleep easy solution but we used the dvd not the book. The dvd was fantastic. They showed a few different families using the techniques which was great cause you got to see exactly how it was done and it worked well for us

What about getting them from the library first for a quick read to see what you think. Also the Plunket centre place on Riccarton Road might be able to help you with your sleep issues, a lot of people have found their help invaluable.

Jack has always been a terrible sleeper as well, but it has often changed in how it presents it's self (if that makes sense). I have found http://www.pinky-mychild.com/ - Sleeping like a baby great and am now reading her toddler book.

I initially got it from the library and read it. As I found it useful I bought a copy. Maybe your local library has some books you can borrow and 'try before you buy'

Yeah I highly recommend the plunket centre, I took Spencer there at 3 months cos he was doing the 45 mins sleep thing in the day too.

I'm a huge Elizabeth Pantley - The No Cry Sleep Solution.

I've just recently read Sleeping like a baby by Pinky McKay as recommended by some of the girls on here.

Try the Plunket Centre first. You can also find the above books at the library.
