Hi Ladies,
I recently had a daughter @ 18 weeks 4 days pregnant. My body has gone back to normal, my period came on 7 weeks after I gave birth lasted for 3 days then stopped, however I have started to bleed again within 7 days of stopping my period (light & just on occassions) , I would really like to know if this is normal? Thanks

It's always hard to say what's "normal" for any given woman. This could be your body readjusting itself. What you have said is not abnormal by any means. Can I ask, what colour is the blood? If it's brown then it will be old blood being released. Keep a note of when your cycle started, finished and then started again, colour of the blood, consistency and quantity. If the bleeding continues for more then 3 or 4 days and/or gets heavier then make an appointment for a quick chat with your doctor, but as I said, it will most likely be your body readjusting, sorting its cycles back out again.  ------------- TTC #2 |
