Im back We got home this afternoon and I couldnt be happier!!! I have jad such a crappy week(apart from meeting my little boy of course!)

I will post my full birth stort soon, its long lol. But basicly, my waters broke at 2.30am Saturday 22nd, labour didnt really get started until Sunday morning. Sunday morning at 11ish we decided to go to the hospital cos the contractions were like 1 min apart and strong! So got to puke and I was JUST 3cm dilated, so got sent home, went back at 5pm in total agony, I was only 4cm after all that time! I was so pissed off, so midwofe said I will have to go to middle more! Plus I had just noticed my pad was green, so I had meconium in the waters 
Got to middle more, sucked on the gas for ages while I screamed for my epidural, a doctor came in a chcked me I was 4 1/2 and she stretched me to a 6(OUCH is all i can say) then I finaly got my epidural and it didnt work well down my left side so still felt pain there, urghh. After an hour I was checked agaain and I 9cm YAY!! and I had started feeling him come down(like immense pressure) and they checked me again after an hour and I was only 9 1/2, surgon came in and said due to me being in labour for so long and having meconium in the waters they needed to opt out and do a c section. So they chucked Adam some scrubs and off we went. Caden was born a 1.03am Monday 23 June 9lb 8oz, 56cm long He looks just like his daddy!

Welcome back Sheena. Congratulations on your lovely little lad.
I'm really sorry you didn't get the birth experience you'd hoped for, but I bet cuddling Caden's more than made up for that.
Hope your recovery goes well and your boy is a wee angel for sleeping etc now (after being such a wee monkey in the womb). -------------
