What do you want to know?  It's not all that great IMO.  I qualify for the subsidy for GF pasta and flour but by the time I've paid for the docs visit to get the prescription plus paid the $15 prescription fee the pasta works out the same price as getting it from a supermarket on special and the flour...not really sure but I don't like the horleys stuff (which is the subsidised brand) so I'd rather pay for the healtheries or bakels flours.

You apply for a disability allowance and you have to get your dr to write on it what you need it for.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

But does an adult intolerance qualify for a Disability Allowance? We qualify for one for Ella because of the cost of her formula, and the extra costs of her spesh foods, but that's because she's our dependant.

Something I saw yesterday indicates that I could get a prescription for pasta and flour (maybe I'll need updated scripts when the kids go to the dr's ) and allowances are only for under 16yrs, thru WINZ.

Adults can get a disability allowance (for coeliacs disease you can anyway) but it is means tested.

T I usually only get a script when I'm at the doc for other things but have still found it's not worth it.  I generally get the san remo GF pasta's from Moore Wilsons or the healtheries or orgran stuff from the supermarket when it's on special.

You could ask work & income if you could get the
extra help as you recieve family assistance and see if you could get the extra help.
Eg: Dietician & Doctors.Hope that helps.
Good luck.
