Had a D & C last month and my period has pretty much come back when I expected it. What I'm not sure is what is day one....WED night got light spotting which carried on till Saturday and then Saturday it came full on.
So, is day one Wednesday or Saturday?

FF usually states that CD1 is the first day of bleeding, not spotting. I cant remember how much is considered spotting though.
How light is light? If it was true spotting then CD1 would be saturday... if it was light AF then wednesday.
Glad AF has come for you... I love your stomping fairy too!!!!

I love the stomoing fairy too!
and I think your day 1 would be Saturday - the first day of proper bleeding, not spotting.

Saturday. Spotting, doesn't count as bleeding, and day one is the first day of full flow. I had endometriosis so I'd regularly spot for several days before AF arrived.
I'm really sorry for your loss.

Ok thanks....will go with the Saturday - that was my first thought.
Yes, saw the stomping tinkerbell on another site...and it pretty much sums TTC up!

My doctor told me that because the start of my cycles was usually a couple days spotting, to count the first day of spotting as CD1. This actually worked out correctly for me in the end with pregnancies. I do know a lot of others will say first day full bleed.
I'm glad its all getting back to normal for you after the d&c...I had one 3w3d ago and hoping that af will come along soon.

I have read that its that day one is the first day of real flow and that spotting doesn't count.

I always heard cd1 is when you need to use a tampon or a pad basically.
And sites like Fertility Friend start a new cycle once you put in either light, med or heavy flow, but not spotting.
