Yeah we have the cloth lying down one shes too big and hates lying down. I normally have a bath with her but it would be cool to be able to have my hands free to play with her in the bath which is why i wanted the seat one.

Before too long she will want to stand in the bath most of the time like Daniel (and many of the other june bubbas) and might get cranky at being stuck in a chair

Will she not sit on her own in the bath? Tom LOVES his bath and he sits and crawls and splashes happily. I put a non slip mat under him and then my hands just need to be nearby!

until I got our mat I used to put a heavy towel on the bottom of the bath....something like a bathmat weight.

I got the gremlins bath seats on TM cheap second hand.
I agree that a non slip mat is prob better tho as Kylah is older. And yep, a towel works well too, I used to put a wet facecloth in the bottom of the bath seat to stop them slipping in them before they could sit well.
