for those of you which have both of these napies...which nappy do you prefer? I have a berry plush which I really like and am trying to decide whether to buy another one or get a Bitti D'lish instead. Any thoughts???

thanks

I prefer the bitti d'lish, but somehow I have more berry plush I think it might be because they were cheaper - tweedle had free postage, and they were both $34.50 for a while there. (and the latest one I got was a 2nd hand berry plush for $20)

For trimness bitti d'lish wins out, for absorbancy I think it just does too, but for colours, the berry plush gets my vote - the northern lights is lovely (purple/pink) Seb has one, it's a good thing dad isn't a manly man or he'd probably complain

I like berry plush better than dlish. Daniel almost doesn't fit the large which is a bit sad since he's not even a year old.

I would have to say the Berry Plush. We have never had a leak and Sam is still in her smalls. The D'Lish is gorgeous but a little too trim through the crotch at times, especially when someone likes to roll around on the floor with legs spread
I love the rainforest BP. I am coveting it big time

This will likely change when he becomes more active. Isaac fits the large at 2 1/2 years on the 2nd snap from the outside.

He leaned off alot in his 2nd year ..... 10kg at 10 months and 12 kg at 2 years. He is around the 14kg mark now.

I don't think so, he's not a big kid at all, hes actually quite lean and still in mostly mediums though he fits a couple of larges just. So I don't think he's likely to lean off by a lot.

so when you say "almost doesn't fit" what setting is he on?

With the 2 snaps per wing.. on one wing I can get one snap done up, with the other wing I can get both of the snaps on.. if that makes sense. But because I can only get one snap done up on one side the snap that isn't "snapped" digs into his skin after a while and leaves a red mark.

I will PM you offline ... it doesn't sound like the sizing is right, especially if he is mainly in medium nappies. I have had one other large nappy returned to me that was on the small side so it is possible it is a fault.

Here is Isaac in his at 2 1/2

They are very trim fitting nappies, but I can't see how your average sized not even year old boy, would nearly be out of the large

Yeah I originally got it for a friend who I was trying to convert to cloth so got her one of those and gave her one of my pockets so she could try and AIO and a pocket that were really cool looking, but her little girl just didn't fit it at all.. as in couldn't even get both wings snapped so I kept it for Daniel. The size label does say large, so does the labels on the snap in soaker things too.

I haven't tried my Bitti dlish yet, it's waiting for a butt to go on, but I Berry Plush, the gremlins have 6 of them, and I have one in small for baby too.

Interestingly enough, when you compare the S Berry Plush to the M Bitti D'lish they are pretty much the same size, so the Bitti D'lishs are obviously a smaller fitting nappy (it does say this on Mothers Instinct too) but they look much trimmer.

Gremlins are in L Bitti boos on the tightest snaps.

Stacey - I definitely think it sounds like a fault in the sizing of your large D'lish. Leo is 13kg and quite short & chubby and he fits his large on the same setting as Isaac above (although Leo's only 20mths!). Its a really good fit though, like a little pair of undies.

Gosh I can't decide which I like better. I don't really like side snaps but the berry plush has way better colours and is way softer and you can use the cover as a cover over fitteds.

On the other hand d'lish are so trim, they seem small but I think because they fit so snug they would last longer than a not so snug nappy of the same size. Jack and Caprece are in the same size nappy now and he was a huge baby (heres a wee pic of him in his prime)

so although there may be a time where she doesn't fit the d'lish i bet ya she slims back down to fit it.
