ok I'm going to start in cloth nappies..i so need an idiot guide to the closest kind to sposies:) and how much and where to buy from etc.. you guys mention pictures in the gallery? do you the gallery on a website somewhere?:) so my questions..sorry they have been asked before and i promise one day i will read all the posts bout it..form people who have the ones as close to sposies as you can get:) what are they called...where do i get them from..how many do i need... ------------- Mum to two amazing boys! |

The All-in-ones I guess would be the closest to a sposie to put on, but you can't alter the absorbency so if it isn't good enough for you son there's not much you can do about it.
I'd say go pockets. Once you stuff the insert in they are just as easy as a sposie and you can customise the absorbency ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Pockets are easy and and like Toni said, you can adjust the absorbency which I think is the best thing about them. Even my DH has no issues with them!
How many you need depends on how often you want to wash. Say you go through 7 naps a day, times that by how often you want to wash and that will give you a guide on how many to get. There's seriously TONS of places to get them from. Perhaps meet up with some of the other ohbaby ladies down there that have their bubbas in cloth and see what they have. That way you can see what you think you will like and you can use that as a starting point. |

I'd also recommend a pocket. All you have to do is stuff an insert into it and it's ready to go! I switched from disposables for my second baby and I love them, would never go back. I'd recommend trying a Fuzzi Bunz, Honey Child or Foxybots for a sized nappy (trimmer fit on a smaller baby, but you will need to upsize when they outgrow them) or a bumGenius for an adjustable one-size-fits most nappy (can be a bulky on a smaller baby but will fit most until toilet trained). Better yet, try a few different brands out to see which one you like best! Eech will have a different fit and you'll find that some fit your baby better than others. To use full time with washing every day you'd probably need 15 nappies, more if you want to wash every other day.

ok so the best kind of pockets are(i want funky colours:) well boy colours at least.. and hes a moderate wetter and the usual type of poo except its green black cause of the Pepti...

LOL! KA everyone has differing opinions and it can get confusing to start!! I just listened to everyone had to say and went and looked at some in person(a big help) and went with what I liked the look of best.
