Just wondering...can you use the inserts and trifold thingies for pockets in a prefold cover? Are they ok agains baby's skin?

You could make some polar fleece liners by getting the fabric and just cutting it to size. Or if you're lazy like me you could buy them.
Snazzipants sell them for about $1 each. -------------

You can use hemp or bamboo inside your prefolds, they should be fine. -------------
