CLAIRE, YOU OWE EVERYONE AN APOLOGY AND/OR AN EXPLANATION AT THE VERY VERY LEAST.

My best friend had a full term stillborn baby and it is NOT EVER EVER alright to make up lies about that sort of thing. How heartless and cruel.

This forum is place for support and friendship and I really value it.

For those who do abuse it, its quite unbelievable, for those who don't I am constantly grateful for all the advice, care, support and kindness you all provide.

Today reading the posts about claire has left a very odd taste in my mouth - not nice.

i agree with whats been said, but shouldnt we also in a weird way still try and support Claire?
what she did was disgusting and incredibly hhurtful to many people, but there is also the possibility it was a cry for help from a very sick young woman?

IMHO We dont want to turn this whole thing in to a witch hunt

MyBelly you said what I have been thinking perfectly... I almost feel sorry for her reading through all this stuff - only a person with real problems would start this charade, and from what 06baby is saying she has some issues...

Maybe we need to know the story, or get over it... I know that people feel really betrayed and so do I, but there is obviously something wrong...

Yeah I agree... it's not right that she made it up but she obviously has issues. I don't think that on here is the best way to support her (I think she needs to step right away from ohbaby and deal with it) but she does need some professional help.

Doesn't stop me from being totally weirded out by the situation, and I'm finding myself reading people's posts and wondering if they are actually who they say they are! I mean of course I know anyone can assume any identity on the internet and make up stories etc, but I guess I just hadn't thought about it too much on here...

i agree completely with all of you guys that she is sick and needs support from the right people and i'm hoping its more a case of that than that she is just an evil person. If it weren't for the fact that her family was carrying on the farce, telling people that she really was pregnant a couple of weeks ago when we know that she wasnt and basically telling lies - she would have almost nothing but sympathy. But for them to make out that my brother has left her under those circumstances absolutely makes my blood boil - and i'm sure its not all just pregnancy hormones!

I think she needs help, but I don't think here is the place. People on here have had stillborn babies/miscarriages and I don't think that they, or anyone else, should have to deal with someone that is quite frankly a bit f***ed in the head. Sorry if that's a bit off with some people, but I've just had a friend give birth to twin boys, one of which DID actually die at 2 weeks old of SIDS.

Sick, sick, sick

I agree, I think Claire does need serious help and support, but I also agree that here is not the appropriate place. I would hope that her family would have the sense to get her some help, but from what 06Baby is saying that isn't the case, which is the saddest part of all coz she is such a young girl and obviously has some pretty serious issues.

Why are you giving her the satisfaction of your attention? It's exactly what she is looking for.

Yes I agree, she needs professional help, But I am not going to give her any satisfaction by acknowledging her on this forum.

I think we all just need to ignore her and be glad that 06Baby came on here and outed her.

I missed the whole thing too, but what I'm most interested in is how did everyone find out she was lying? Did she admit to it or something?

ETA: Never mind.. I see that she was dobbed in by the sister in law.

Yikes, that's just...wow...

It's a sad thing to do but I've seen things like this (making stories up) happen on many forums/message boards. But really, why make such a huge song and dance over it when it's obvious attention is what they seak? I've thought about putting this up and then not, but really isnt the smartest thing to do is just ignore it and move on rather than fueling the attention

I agree with not giving it all too much attention but I really don't understand how someone could lie about something as big as that. It has really upset me, I lost my twin boys at 20 weeks, and I would not wish it on anyone. She must have some major issues to deal with, but like others I don't think here is the place

I think she has got what she came for and will move on to some other lovely forum to prey on and take advantage of the nice caring and supportive members. Everything that people have written is not giving her more attention but letting people get their anger off their chest. JMHO

i already knew she was a immature lying little witch from personal experience.

im completly and utterly shocked that she did that tho.
i just hope that the people she used to work with know or find out, as i know i wouldnt want my children being looked after by someone so mentaly unstable.

Was she really just lying? Because I know there is a disorder where you can be convinced that you are pregnant, even when people tell you that you aren't (including when told by health professionals). It can start out as a lie but then you convince yourself that it's the truth and you actually believe it. I can't remember what the disorder is called though. It can get so extreme that your body can believe you are pregnant and you can get pregnancy symptoms and weight gain etc. Is there any chance she had this?

Either way, it's really sad.

I was so upset for her when I read the post.

Later I showed it to DH (who may be a better judge of character than I am) and he told me he thought it was bollocks and if not then she is a very silly girl who put her *imaginary* babies in danger. At the time I thought he was being harsh but as it turns out he was absolutely right (about her being a silly girl).

06baby, I'm really sorry for what she has put you and your family through esp your brother.

as i said in the other thread i think this needs to end...can we please finish off these threads admin and lock them...

lets not give the little psycho anymore attention....Im sure people in rotorua will give her enough of that now they know who she is!

Sorry BS but I don't agree with locking the threads. This woman hurt and deceived alot of people. They should be allowed to vent their frustrations.   There needs to be an outlet for everyone.

If Admin feel that they need to lock the threads then so be it.

JMHO.

WHOA I go away for a few days and come back to find exactly what i was thinking.

The whole thing about that claire girl just didn't seem right and when she posted about loosing them some time earlier in the preg, i thought "nah that doesn't add up, twin pregs are overly overly monitored, she'd have had a million scans, if she'd lost them, she'd have foiund out before now"

freaky weird chick.

I am angry that i felt so bad for reading her post in the life after loss area and thinking "that's got to be bollocks" and convincing myself that i was being horrible when really i was spot on in my intuitions.

Hhhm, and people sometimes wonder why the ones that have been around on here for ages are a little wary sometimes of newbies (no offence, cos like 99% of you are a wonderful addition to our community).

Ick.
