Ok, We are enrolled in swimming classes. YAY!!!! And they have specified that he must wear swimmers, not disposables and not cloth. So what is different about a swimmer? and which ones do people recommend?

I saw a thread earlier that suggested for home use a pocket without an insert could work...would that apply for a public pool?

Are swimmers made from a different fabric to PUL?

Thanks

mothers instinct have some... that should give you an more of an idea if you have a look at hers.
i dont think an unstuffed pocekt would work for a public pool, it would have to be really tight to avoid any leaks of a serious nature...

I am coveting Monkey Doodlez swimmers for the gremlins, they currently have med Bummis ones but they are getting too short in the rise and I worry about whether they will "contain" any accidents.

JK have swim naps, and the Warehouse.  PP too.  They can be a bit hard to find out of season though.  Can buy them online too from nappy sites and baby sites.

No cuppatea, not kaiapoi, but Amberley. They have resurected the hydrotherapy pool and are going to run swim classes. check out http://www.aquaticjournee.co.nz/ - aquatic journee

I've always used a cloth swim nappy for Leo - I've tried Kushies and Swimmis (by Bummis). The fit of the Swimmis is waaaaay nicer than the Kushies, but after constantly weekly swim lessons the elastic practically disolved in the Swimmis
